This is pretty cool. I have a bet going with my wife right now to see who can go longer without eating any sugar.

    http://www.inquisitr.com/157951/man-loses-200-pounds-wins-bet/

Jay Wornick of New York never thought that he can lose 200 pounds. A bet with his wife, however, urged him to shed the weight from 366 pounds to just 166 pounds.

The bet went like this: Wornick’s wife, Angela, challenged him last January 1 on who can lose the highest percentage of body weight with the loser having the winner’s name tattooed on his or her body.

    ...

Angela will have Jay’s name tattooed on her back soon.

    holy ****!

i made a bet with a friend that i could lose 10 lbs. in 3 months and i was not motivated enough to do it.

but a couple of weeks ago, i cut off all sugar and bread from my diet for about 10 days and lost 5 lbs. can't keep up the bread part though.

Wow...that is crazy...I'm sure he'd have to get some kind of surgery for the excess skin, but well done..The hard part is keeping it off...

A couple of years ago, I lost about 25 lbs. and felt like I was 16 years old again. I can't imagine how great this guy feels walking around without that extra 200 lbs.

Wait.. that's it? Only a tattoo of her HUSBAND's name? After all that work??

Oh well, I guess the whole lost-a-billion-pounds thing is sufficient.

Less than half the weight he was? Daaaamn. Losing half of yourself in one year must be a shock to the system and hard on your health in some ways.

I don't think people should look at him and think if he can do it, they can do it. I think he must have a build that adds and loses weight easily for starters. And, his diet before losing all that weight must have been just atrocious. If you're overweight but already watching what you eat and trying to get exercise, there isn't any low-hanging fruit left to pluck.

That's just ridiculous. I would be amazed if he just turned it around without the help of some sort of support group or even some form of therapy. Can you just singlehandedly flip it around from such an extreme form of gluttony?

Well, I started a diet back on June 12th of this year and lost a total of 98 lbs as of today's date. I was 294lbs wearing a 46 in waist, and now I'm at 196lbs wearing a 32 in waist.

But back to your question, it can be done. Although I didn't eat like he did, I wanted to make a change and I did. Drinking and eating late was my biggest problem.

    Nice job!

I know you said something about drinking and eating late, but what other changes did you make?

I want to lose about 40 to 50 pounds, and get toned. I feel like I may actually be able to do this.
