Manning did have Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, and Edgerrin James at one point.

Kind of makes you wonder if the Packers regret not kicking Favre to the curb a year or two earlier.

Also can't forget Marshall Faulk and Marcus Pollard as well.

Man, it must feel good to be a Packers fan. You just end a glorious era with Brett Favre then Rodgers steps right in and wins a super bowl. Doesn't get much better than that.

He's pretty legit. I enjoy watching him play almsot as much as Manning. He's just deadly. I hope he keeps it up and doesn't become Chris Johnson.

And I'm a Steelers fan... Hated him in the Superbowl, but love him as a player.

I told a few of my friends last year after the SB that Rodgers would be better than Favre.
Dude is just playing out of his mind right now, and it looks like no team could stop him.

It's kind of hard to compare stats since the rules have changed so much toward passing .

Rogers is having a great year, but to be fair to Brett, he never had anywhere near the weapons Rogers has now.

Much like Elway, Brett was a one man wrecking crew.

It's hard to judge different eras in any sports, because of rule changes, athleticism improvements...

But every QB/team is on the same playing field NOW, and Rodgers is just blowing every QB out of the water. He's playing in his own zone right now. He's a "perfect" QB.

Look at how Ben got slowed down playing a great D like the Ravens. Look how Brady has slowed down playing better defenses than he was initially to start the season. However, Rodgers hasn't slowed down one single bit. Again, when you are on another level, there's really nothing you can do.

I just wish Cal had a quarterback with even one quarter of Rodgers' talent.

it'll be all for naught when the Texans beat them in the Super Bowl.

The only one on that list not to have a great arsenal of weapons is Brady.

Yes, but.. none of those guys have had the amount of talent at one time like Rodgers has had this year.

You are aware that his CAREER QB rating is OVER 100 right? (102.7 to be exact). The guy has been elite ever since he became the starter. He's just playing in GOD-mode right now.

Brady has had Bellichick's great D when he won those SBs. Ever since Brady has put up staggering offensive numbers, the Pats haven't done jack since Bellichick's D hasn't been up to par.

Rodgers is winning with his defense near the bottom of the league in terms of yards allowed. And statistically, he has never had a running game.

It's like a dream that you will now wake up.

On the side note: I wonder if the Packers will ever get a healthy RB. Isn't their weak running game kind of help Rodgers and his stats?

And? I don't think you read my post earlier. I said... not to take anything away from Rodgers....

All I said was it would be interesting to see how other elite QBs would do with the offense the Rodgers currently has.

I don't think Rodgers' weapons are all that great. Certainly not any better than what Brady and Manning have had.
