Not that it should necessarily matter, but I'm a little less inclined to judge him knowing this. You just really hope the kids don't feel emotionally neglected; or that one of the spouses isn't compromising on extra kids just to be able connect with the person they love.
That's because you're defining childhood by American standards of sitting around and watching Dora or Pokemon. I've had people accuse me of the same thing because I send my son to a lot of extracurricular activities that takes up all 7 days of the week. He has music lessons, two language classes, and sports, in addition to all the extra homework I give him. He has time to play video games and watch TV but not 4 hours a day. For some I'm verging on child abuse.
I think these Duggars are dolts. But I can agree to that. I [very accidentally] saw them being interviewed on 700 Club. The big curiosity is how do they do it, how do they manage? It seemed really simple - they just liked kids and being parents and being a family and didnt question anything. Compared to hags now who arent mentally, emotionally or spiritually equipped for anything.
I try not to know anything about these people, but from the little I have heard, they may be whacked out and nut, but kudos if they are there for their kids. Question: if they play the odds, and lose, will they be done having kids?
That pic is so old...needs to be updated...at least to 18 maybe even 19. There's only 14 kids in that pic!
I have to assume that she is going to have some serious problems in a few years. She has basically spent the last 20 years pregnant. There will come a time where she can't have more kids and that adjustment will probably be very difficult for her. It will be quite an adjustment for her husband too because he must have a thing for preggo girls.
There are a few that are legal I believe. I never thought about it before but they're pretty cute I guess. Spoiler
Birthing 20 kids has to leave your body looking DISGUSTING. Plus she just has her older kids take care of the younger ones. She's a baby factory.
