They pulled your apps because of reviews?

Oh, and I thought the android users were the 'tech savvy' ones? ;p

No, I pulled my own apps off the market. Yes, for the most part they are but considering I would make it available to all countries not just the U.S , you're going to get some dumb people who own Android's because they simply can't afford another type of smartphone.

There's a reason why "Shootme" is no longer available in the market either....

GTunes would frequently get pulled due to copyright violations. Just like how Dood's Music is going to be pulled any day now for streaming off of Grooveshark. (Download it while you can)

One of my favorite apps is WeatherBug, but this morning when I opened it up, my 3g signal went away. Tried several different things but finally went to the Market and read in the reviews that the last update seems to have screwed everything up. Some even said they got a virus from it.

Sucks because that was probably the best weather app out there. I had to uninstall it to get my 3G signal back.

    Little off topic I guess...

I really want to update my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4g to Gingerbread, but I'm terribly paranoid about messing something up. I browse the forums at XDA and every time I build up the nerve to attempt it, the technical jargon makes me back off. Weak, I know... lol

I've been waiting for months for an OTA update, and I'm starting give up hope on that.

    Advice???

I can confirm with you that internal Samsung Builds of Gingerbread for your device are being worked on. The wait is up to you. Could be a while, the original Epic 4g just got official Gingerbread today.

You could have someone else root it for you. If you'd like, link me to the XDA thread and let me know what you don't understand and maybe I can assist you

    What exactly is a kernal?

I know some roms run better with certain kernals, but how do you install a rom and a kernal?

SeekDroid. It gives you an account for it's website where you can remotely turn on GPS, an alarm, or wipe all your personal data in the event that you mislocate or get your phone stolen.

To simplify it, it controls the OS and battery consumption.
you install a kernel the same way you install a rom. use clockworkmod recovery

I have a question (I have an EVO 4g phone):

This is a quick off topic question, but I've been experiencing some weird things with my phone in the morning when its my first time of the day to use it. When I go to unlock my phone it seems to get 'stuck' when I scroll down to unlock and I would have to push and scroll with more force several times before it moves. Also, when I get a call (I have to scroll down to accept) it freaks out and starts moving by itself. Anyone experience this or know the possible cause?

Sorry again for the off topic.

Were you charging your phone when the problem occurred?

No, its from an old phone. That's the reason why? The usb chord tip that plugs into the phone broke. Will the problem solve if I use the ac adapter that came with the phone with a different usb chord?

That could be why. Use the ac adapter the phone came with , and I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try that.

Like what Scionxa said, use the original ac adapter. :)

If you're on Windows or Linux, it will be as easy as dragging and dropping. You can just copy the entire contents of your current SD card into a folder on your computer, and then put in your new SD card, plug in your phone and copy all info from that folder to your SD. Voila :)
