Did you guys know that some stores like Best buy are opening at 12 pm friday? Thats awesome. I don't have to wake up 3 o clock in the morning this year. I planning on getting like a 55' flat screen and a cheap budget computer. And I also have a 10% coupon I dunno if they will let me use. http://www.washingtonpost.com/busin...ack-midnight/2011/11/08/gIQAF3Ov1M_story.html
its really nothing new, Walmart did it last year, and people didn't realize it because their doorbusters started at 5am but the rest of their ad was effective at midnight, hell Katy Mills has had their place open at midnight the past 3 years So far Best Buy, Walmart, and Target of the bigger retail spots have confirmed that it'll open at midnight.
I would, but after reading that some people had to wait a couple months or didn't get upgraded at all after they donated I would rather not.
Picked up a Samsung steam washer and dryer last night from HH Gregg for $486 each. Now I go into Black Friday with total freedom of where to go.
I have a dilemma guys. I have a 10% off coupon for best buy that I want to use for a big flat screen. But the problem is they won't let me use it on black friday. I don't know if I should just get the higher end flat screen now and get like 100 bucks off when the coupon or wait til black friday when they try to sell you the cheaper end stuff.
Why not both? Get both and then decide what the better deal is. You can always return either, usually within 30 days or so. And i think the obvious answer is no, but just to make sure, do any stores price adjust for Black Friday (giving you the difference in price if you bought the same item X days prior to the Black Friday sale)?
Use the 10% off to get the nice higher end TV you want now... I doubt they will have the TV you REALLY want on black Friday. and then...... Go pick out a new home theater they have on special on BF. Easy peasy.
must read from dealnews.com about what TV to look into, what TV deals to expect http://dealnews.com/black-friday/predictions/2.html btw, I wouldn't put too much stock on your 10% off at Best Buy, if they are not on sale, their prices are pretty much MSRP, you can get a better price via Amazon, no tax and free shipping.
Thanks Dave. Walmart and Best Buy are two places that get too out of control, to me, so I hit up Conns instead. Can't wait for their ad to leak.
Yeah, I work at Best Buy and we're opening at 12 am on Black Friday. Which means I'll get to work a 12 hour shift on that day. Awesome. No idea how I'm going to do anything on Thanksgiving now.
Nobody lets you price match purchases for Black Friday deals on prior purchases. Wal-Mart is the only store that will match a Black Friday ad on Black Friday regardless of store.
At least you can call dibs on a few items before the doorbusters come running in. No it's not fair to the customers but who cares. You gotta get your's.
