    He should probably keep his mouth shut. Tell the union and the other players, but do it in a closed communication, not out where David Stern can read the comments. It doesn't do the union much good in the negotiation room.

    Martin is just a smart man, he uses his brain both on or off the floor. I am glad to have him on this team to replace that Ron man.

    It's beginning to read like the union aren't letting players like Martin have a say. Why won't they let the players vote? Are they afraid the majority of players will take it? Ego and pride taking over?

    Wow. Way to weaken the union Martin.
    His intentions are good, but this just destroys whatever unification that the union may have had.
    You don't see the owners coming out in public like this...
