It is amusing how big bad SAMCRO, Mayans and One Niners are turned into prison wives when the cartel showed up.
So far, only Gemma and Unser. I'm sure it will come out tonight. It will be interesting to see Opie's reaction.
Not unlike real life crime organizations, big fish in small ponds can always be controlled by actual big fish.
Has to, if not this next episode sometime during the season because some choices have been made that have pretty much sealed certain fates....
Seems like it's really only been a couple of days. Piney would disappear to the cabin for long stretches in the past. Also, Opie was going to go until Clay told him to stay. It's all coming. I'm wondering who's not going to be back for season 5. It's between Clay, Gemma, Unser, Juice, and Tara. My money is on Tara and Juice, with Unser close behind.
^^ yes he would disappear but under the circumstances, and they were about to vote to change leadership and that went away too
I don't know why it was stretched out to 90 minutes. I expected a lot more to happen, but it was an entertaining episode nevertheless.
Agreed but pretty solid regardless, don't know why Gemma, in the previews for next, is pulling back on what she said....
Because she had already changed her mind from last episode when she said it and told Unser to cover it up. Unser is going rogue, and like Piney, doesn't seem to care much for his life. Tigg and Chibbs are my two favorite characters. I wish they would use Chibbs more this season other than just the Juice storyline. He was so awesome in the Jimmy O story line last season. The scars that the actor who plays Chibbs has on his face are a real Glassgow smile, just like he gave Jimmy O in the last episode. Fun trivia. He is the only thing that saved that stupid 9 epsiodes in Ireland going after that ****ing baby.
If you read some of the stuff from Sutter, they really wanted to tie up some loose ends and have 1 episode where you're heart wasn't jumping out of your chest. Apparently the rest are going to be freaking intense.
What is Gemma and Unser's deal? Is he her uncle or something? Has there closeness been explained? Rocket River
I don't think they are related. They haven't explained it but a few episodes back there Gemma planted an open mouth kiss on him which lead me to believe that he more than just a friend, at least in the past or so. Clay's comment from last night about him finally being able to come in to save her led me to think it's more than it first appeared.
Yeah, it gets a little hard to suspend the disbelief at times. That's what happens in any show like this. They have to keep the action going, and it is getting bloodier and bloodier. What keeps me going are the characters. I genuinely care about what each character does. I feel like their personalities are beautifully crafted, so much so that I actually care when one of them dies. When Half-sack died I was shocked. I thought his character was awesome as a young loveable rook. Seeing Opie yell when Donna was iced did me in. Seeing Opie bash Tiggs face in when he found out. Hell, even Kozik dying bothered me. I liked the arc between him and Tig (even though you found out it was about a dog). Season 3 may have sucked for the majority, but when Stahl and Jimmy O were killed, I cannot think of a more riveting episode of television. Seeing Jax and Clay look at each other and smile in the prison van made tingles run down my spine. It's a challenge any drama faces. Hell, even Happy Days coined the phrase "jumped the shark."
