    Good for dogs and cats.

    They get pampered by humans.

I don't understand this post. Aren't corporations people? Don't people give meaning to the Earth? Therefore, there would be no meaning to life without corporations spending as much of their money as necessary for us to see the meaning they assign our lives.

So then every company would have to be a partnership or sole proprietorship? Or you want to get rid of those too?

Would the earth be better off without humans?????

Would space be better off without dark matter?

Would black holes be better off without event horizons?

Would light be better off without semi-reflective surfaces?

Would people be better off without belly buttons?

Would a rock be better off without moss?

Would we be better off with less non-sense questions?

I don't about those other ones, but I think the answer to the belly button question is an overwhelming no.

Is this the best of all possible worlds?? Ask Leibniz.

Responding to your assumption about Christians, but spoilering cause I don't want to D&D this:
In a sense the world is not perfect cause there's sin (evil/rebellion against God through unbelief or disobedience), but yes, it's perfect cause even sin serves a purpose, which is to highlight the mercy, patience, and love of God who loved us even when we were sinners through Jesus' death and resurrection. Those attributes would not be seen without evil. Not that that means that sin is not still wrong (Paul wrote a whole chapter about such arguments in Romans 6). I consider this an intriguing paradox, not a contradiction.

It'd be like the Rockets having CP3, DWill, Steve Nash, Rose, and Lowry. Some of those guys would get stuck on the bench and never come into play unless you were against the Heat...
    (see what I did there?)

As an agnostic i would posit that what we see is the state of the entropic fractal equation initiated by the BANG from a human-centric, time specific perspective. Whether anything is better or worse depends on the state of mind of the individual: genetic, nurture, socialization, love, money, power, luck etc etc etc.

So the answer is, Who TF knows?

    Click in no
    Click vote now

Just got back from voting for the Mayor! I wouldn't have bothered, but I just don't trust the people to do what's right without me.

mother earth's finest creation is easily the human race.

i'd say the earth is way more interesting with them than without them.

Considering that without them there would be no one to have interest in anything....unless you count dogs being interested in sniffing other dogs butts.

    (said before)

Or you may just be judging too early. Give it another 150 million years. It might turn out to be giant ants.
