Sorry Toycen... Searching for ET, But No Evidence Yet By Phil Larson Thank you for signing the petition asking the Obama Administration to acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence here on Earth. The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race. In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public's eye... https://wwws.whitehouse.gov/petitions#!/response/searching-et-no-evidence-yet
You really think Government would tell us if they found evidence of UFOs or captured alien technology, etc.? This petition is pointless.
Exactly. I remember there being a guy on the History Channel once, talking about a guy who's presidential campaign was based on revealing secrets about aliens, Area 51 etc. He said something like "A president is only in office for four or eight years. If there was something really this mind-blowing, this life changing, it's probably only known by a few select guys in the CIA."
(Many planets in the Solar System of which a star is our sun) x (many suns as stars in the universe = NO WAY THERE'S OTHER LIFE ANYWHERE ELSE.
Couldn't there be aliens out there that aren't even remotely close to what we are? After all, if they did live on other planets, surely they would be different on an evolutionary scale. What's to say there aren't some microscopic bacteria living on some distant planet unsuited for our and our ilk's habitation?
Thinking about how abnormally huge universe is it'd be ignorant to believe we are the only intelligent life form. We can't closely imagine how big 1/100 of our galaxy are, now think how many galaxies there are with 10000000000000....... suns. We can't even think of the number in our wildest dreams.
Thinking about how abnormally huge universe is it'd be ignorant to think any information about us would have time to reach anyone, or any information about anyone would have time to reach us, much less inter-communication, even less physical travel, much less examination of the number of possible planets in the universe before you get to our one, or even if they did, that you would recognize whatever they were using as communication as communication. But dream the dream.
Toycen is currently unable to respond in the hangout I believe.....too bad it would have been fun to see his reaction. DD

Yeah, I was being sarcastic. We'd be so #$)*^#)$^ selfish to think we're the only ones "alive" in the universe. We have primitive communication ways... they probably whistle to each other and know what they're saying...
If there are other lifeforms out there, we will never find nor know about them, IMO. The universe is just too big for anyone to notice our microscopic dot known as Earth. It's like finding that one grain of sand on a beach.
