Yeah, don't get me wrong, I've known Brad Davis since we were both in the Lou and he played at Chaminade and then SLU and again when I lived in Dallas and he played for the Burn, good guy and decent player but he's not even better than Eddie Lewis at that. No American imo has ever been better than Eddie Lewis at providing quality service from the run of play and set pieces.

But, I hope Brad comes back to provide service to the rest of the Dynamo and help them lift the cup.

So Houston is in the final of the U.S. playoffs of the most popular sport in the world, and all there is is this one thread?

I don't get the surprise. You and most in the states and abroad know Footy isn't on the same level in the States(in terms of popularity) as the NFL, NBA, MLB and possibly NHL. There's great interest but it's no surprise that there's only one thread on the Dynamo's exploits.
Oh well, let's enjoy it regardless.

    We're good again?

I've been wanting to follow our team a lot more, but I'm always distracted. All I know is Ching

    Exhibit 1

    Exhibit 2

I don't live in Houston and I still follow them. I watch when I can (which, admittedly isn't much) and I go when I can (which is even less). I will be glued to the tv for the final, however. We have a winner in Houston and they can barely make the front page of the local newspaper. Posts like these two and from moestrollin are just annoyances that I've grown used to over my 30+ years of playing and following the game.

This is probably karma/payback from the Oilers-Chiefs 1993/94 playoff game. Now these KC fans have to suffer what we've been through. At least they still got the Chiefs and Royals and both those teams suck.

I was watching that part and they were clearly screaming 'F*** YOU!" at Costly. All I could think was "their parents must be so proud to see their kids on national tv doing that."

It's funny that you say that. Not but two minutes after I posted that, I realized I hadn't mentioned Omar Gonzalez. I just didn't bother to go back and add him in.

I agree with you that he deserves a call-up.

Can't wait for the final match! It hurts to not have Davis out there, but I think these guys can get it done. The defense is solid, and guys will step up.
