RR, I hate starting new threads but, right after it ended tonight, I had it all typed up and only needed to hit "submit". I held out hoping someone else would do it.

I am hooked. Anybody know how many episodes there will be and how likely it is to be renewed?

 

I like it. I initially started watching because I like Emily VanCamp

Haven't watched tonight episode but he gives off this scorned lover vibe. Any one else think he is gay?

 

How did I miss the second post in the thread?? Yes! It does seem like he is hot for his best friend.

 

Ratings seems to be so-so. But seemingly enough for a renewal.

But honestly, I find a show like this better off as 1-2 seasons anyway. Shows that actually have ongoing plot need to end properly instead of being dragged out. 40ish epsiodes, which would be two full seasons, would be more than enough. If the ratings are good, they can always restart with another storyline.

 

Things are a little too convienant for Emily's plots. The dolphin cam especially. I love Madeline Stowe. It would be cool if Kevin Costner showed up in this show somehow.

And I figured the "friend" from Daniel's school was trying to get into Daniel's pants early on... guys don't get THAT jealous that a pal is dating some hottie.

what can I say.. I have good visual gaydar... I think it's because I had a lot of guy friends both straight and gay, I typically don't get along with girls as much

 

I hope someone close to Emily/Amanda dies or gets hurt. I thought that Hacker guy was going to be caught in the house when that chick jumped from the balcony and get blamed for it; got out safe. I thought her best friend was going to get fired for putting up that DVD of the psych sessions; no one suspicious of her. I want to see how she reacts when someone she actually likes/trusts gets into the crossfire. I want to see how ruthless she is. I'm secretly hoping she is the reason her childhood crush's dad died.

Hope the Bodyguard isn't dead. When someone gets close they conveniently get knocked the f**k out.

 

Agree with you. I knew Frank (the Grayson's security guy) had to die even before he discovered her secret. No doubt the real Emily can only last a couple of episodes at the most. It's interesting to me Lydia Davis is alive. I'm glad because she will add even more tension to the show.

 

Get ready for the all too convenient soap opera plot tool of amnesia.

 

Love emily vancamp from her days on "Everwood" which was why i started watching this show. Its an oddly addictive show for some reason, though not particularly good or bad.
Liked the focus on targeting individual characters for revenge each week and the ever revealing backstories/history.

Not yet liking the introduction of the "real" Emily Thorne character, seems like a predictable series of events from that.

The major wtf moment i have with the show was from several weeks back, when Emily didnt have the billionaire guy send the recording of Frank attacking that women and calling victoria afterwards. While it may not have resulted in prison time for all of them, it sure as hell would have caused them a ton of grief, stress, bad publicity and a HUGE problem to get out of.

 

Anyone else watching? I'm still hooked. Don't know how many episodes are left but the more the better.

 

I love this show, and I agree A_3PO... the episodes are just getting better as they go. I think there are 22 episodes in this first season, 15 have aired so far.
