Occupy D.C attacked an Americans For Prosperity dinner last night. Why don't you start a thread called 'people who run over other people' and I will post the video there. What relevance does that have? Are you trying to say the protesters were ethical in attacking old women because later one was hit by a car while standing in the middle of the street at night?
I'm trying to say that you posted a video which does not even show protestors pushing these people, only that they fell down (as in, maybe people pushed from the back of the crowd and it surged forward- a lot less "damning" than if a protestor put out his hands and pushed these ladies). You point out 2 things in a video without pointing out perhaps the most important element (that people were run over), and it has complete relevance. Your whole point was that the Occupy people were acting out of line, which they were, but neglected to mention a potentially criminal act from the other side, which happened. Conclusion? Fail.
Because it has no relevance which is evident by the fact that you don;t explain why it is relevant. Also, it isn't a criminal act if some idiot is in the street at night. In fact the only criminal would be the fellow in the road. Why do think nobody was arrested? If I do jumping jacks in the middle of a highway at night and get nailed, it's my fault. What does 'from the other side' mean? Are you suggesting a person purposely ran this dude over then stopped and explained himself to the police?
That can happen when you "occupy" a street where cars are driving. Their whole intent is to obstruct and disrupt until someone accidentally gets hurt and they can shout "help, I'm being repressed, don't taze me, bro", etc. Like a soccer player looking for a penalty. I was looking at a Time silde show yesterday, at the same time as Basso's post. It was about the phenomena, Fawkes masks showing up all over the wold at Populist protest, about any number of issues.
