I sort of want LSU to win this game, but their luck is crazy. They get an INT at their 1 yard-line off a blown coverage and then Alabama's return guy doesn't catch the punt and it goes 70 yards.
Georgia started 0-2 before showing some life. But sure, that was Boise's ONLY legit win so far this season. They struggled to beat freakin' Air Force. Stanford should be the only team to deserve to play in the national championship if one of these 2 teams don't make it. Stanford at least would have the best player on the planet on their teams, and their front line offensively is elite. They can score on Bama's or LSU's D.
Who has Stanford beat that is as good as georgia? Andrew Luck as a college football player is not even as good as Cam Newton, Tim Tebow, or Vince young.
1 vs 2 (rivals) with a bye week for both teams before meeting 6-6 regulation Overtime. You can't make this **** up.
can saban complete his masterpiece on how to lose a game you have no business losing? how many times has alabama been inside the 35 only to completely fall apart on offense? bad play calls, good play calls where maze trips and falls on his own feet for a 6 yard loss, a seemingly great trick play where maze underthrows it and lsu gets a miracle interception, horrible kicking, putting guys with sprained ankles back to field punts and screwing up field position. my goodness, horrible. now lsu doesn't have to go through the apparently impossible act of getting down to the 25 and their kicker might actually make kicks. looks like lsu's game now in OT.
Well, Stanford has beaten 2 ranked teams. And they'll face another one in Oregon before the year is over. Boise will only face ONE ranked team when the season is over. Outside of George, the rest of their schedule has a bunch of nobodies; TCU is their only "good" opponent remaining. Secondly, who cares if Luck has had a great college career as that of Newton/Tebow/Young. He's an NFL-ready QB, and he's easily the best player in college football NOW. He's capable of facing and beating these NFL-ready defenses in Alabama's and LSU's.
Even considering that 45+ yd FGs are difficult for your college kicker, Bama can't leave 9 points on the field like that. They should have won this in regulation.
The 2 big games on right now couldn't be more different. lol And the outcomes thus far are all but assuring that OSU doesn't get to play in the championship.
