Sources: Paul Allen posing as window-washer, staring into windows of meeting room, saying nothing.

I think he just cant stand to lose at anything, even after he already won he still likes to beat up his opponent as much as possible.

I imagine he isnt very much fun to play board games with at Thanksgiving with his family. Dude is an A$&, but thats what made him the greatest ever on the court though. Too bad he didnt learn from other great players like Isiah Thomas to stay away from the business side of the NBA or people will forget how great you were.

I'm told that Chauncey Billups, widely respected among players, was asked by the NBPA executive committee to join the talks today. #NBA #fb

Sources in talks say two sides have met separately and together during first 90 minutes or so. "Same old, same old," one person said.

Federal mediator George Cohen's style is to have opposing sides caucus separately and come together. Lots of back-schmack and forth

One counter to widespread NBA labor pessimism: Two teams said today they expect strong push toward deal tonight. Cause all parties worn out

Not saying that have or will, but it can tarnish their image.

Why can't I enjoy this thread and post without providing a 'lockout update'?

He was good with players from the 80s and 90s, but he couldn't compete at a championship level with modern 21st century NBA players.

It's like asking Carl Lewis to run the 100 meters vs. Bolt.

I agree. If he was in today's league, Michael Jordan would be slightly better than Brandon Rush (Pacers), but not a ton better.

The training and nutrition alone dwarves what people were doing in that era.

What makes you think Jordan wouldn't have been able to adapt to this "training and nutrition" right now?

Jordan in his prime would still be the top player in today's league.
