I need to get another RB. There's no one that will get more than 5 carries/game as a FA. I'm stacked at WR (Jennings, Welker, Miles, Jordy, and a few others), but my only RB are Chris 'flop of the century' Johnson and Ryan Grant. Neither of them are worth starting. Would it by in my interest to trade Welker for Blount? I'm not sure if the guy will do it, but Welker has proven he can rack up points and Blount has been injured.
Also, Should I bench Jackie Battle for Mario Manningham in my flex position? Also should I pick up Cedric Benson, drop Preston Parker in the process and start him over DeMarco Murray?
Tough call on the first one. Nicks being out, Manning will see a lot more passes. But, Battle has been playing well as of late. Miami's run d isn't bad, so that's a down side. I'd pick up Benson, but I'd probably still start Murray.
Well according to Schefter, Bradshaw is also going to be out so I'd assume Manningham will get an even increased role. Also, I heard Seattles run D is really good, giving up only 3 YPC to opposing RB's. Benson is due for a big game after his week suspension. So damn difficult. Battle really effed me up last week so I'm not sure if I should trust him or not.
How did Battle **** you up? He's a scrub that's finally getting an opportunity due to injury and old age to other players yet he managed to put up 70 yards and a score. If you expected anything more than that you Effed yourself.
So, I'm gonna bench Battle for Mario Manningham in my flex position. Also I'm gonna start Cedric Benson in place of DeMarco Murray. Yey or Neh?
Did you go with Manningham and Crabtree last week? Or Battle and Morris? I suppose if you went Battle and Manningham you were close, but crabtree had a better day than morris and battle. This week, I suppose you HAVE to play Ray Rice. I am going to say that Bennie Wells will have a better game than Jackson. The rams played inspired ball last week against a team that was seriously lagging due to their 60 point outburst the week before. This week, the opposite will be true. It will be the rams that will have the lag and Bennie is going to run all over this team. Also, Stephen Jackson, though still a great option, I feel will have a down game. He won't get 25 carries this week. And I think that the Cards are going to be ready for jackson and will shut him down. There is some risk in this move, but I do feel I have faith in Bennie and going against the 32 ranked run defense, he is going to have a BIG day.
Smart move. This was a no brainer. As for the cedric bensen play. I don't like it. I'd play Murray, simply because I think that Dallas's offense is going to score points, so murray will have an opportunity. Bensen hasn't really done much. Think of Bensen like Chris Johnson. Matchups right now don't matter.
He's only done it twice all year. Also, Tennessee is better against the run than you think. I've seen every game, I live in Tennessee. Unless you are Arian Foster, he isn't going to record 2 tds. The only teams that are really able to run on tennessee are those teams will a lethal passing attack. Pittsburgh did it with Dwyer and Houston with foster. I'd say than Bensen might get 65-75 yards, and I'd say that Murray has a better chance at a td than Bensen. But this is your gut call, so fine play him. I just personally wouldn't do it. Coming off a suspension too. I don't like it.
My only worry is that Murray might be a one hit wonder and he's going against the Seattle Seahawks who actually have the 10th best run defense in the league, surprisingly.
Also I have a lot of faith in DeMarco Murray at home, Romo is struggling, Miles Austin is not 100% ...Dez Bryant, Whitten, Robison might get the ball thrown in their direction but theyve been very conservative having Romo do a lot of work last few weeks Im starting Murray over Jackie Battle tomorrow (vs Miami)
