I haven't watched enough games to be sure, and I guess you could argue about what's similar, but from what I've seen from Team Great Britian & the Vipers the stuff they ran wasn't too similar to what the Rockets ran. I don't think it matters tough. As a coach you've got to adjust to your personal, so I actually think it's a good sign that Finch didn't run the 'Adelman offense' with Team GB & the Vipers. What matters is that Finch and the Rockets have similar beliefs and visions as to what works and how you run a team. Beliefs and visions might very well also be similar to what Rick Adelman believes in. I don't doubt that Coach Finch (and McHale for that matter) are more than familiar with what Adelman ran last year tough. It's not exactly rocket science we're talking about here. I'm not worried about our offense, nor do I know what hiring McHale would have to do with tanking. Do you really think the Rockets were like "Hey let's suck! Who's the worst coach out there? Kevin McHale? Let's hire him then!"?
