Steve Slaton completely agrees with you.

Congratulations to Arian Foster - I have to admit early on, I DID think he was a product of the system, but he's made me a believer.Keep up the good work.

    Re: System discussion.

Who cares? He thrives playing for the Texans....I don't care if he could do it elsewhere, he does it here !

    Congrats to Arian!

BTW, Matt Forte reminds me a lot of Foster.

If he's a product of the system, how do you explain:

    Samkon Gado
    Vernand Morency
    Chris Brown
    Ahman Green
    Steve Slaton

System doesn't explain the long TD runs. That's all Arian.

The perfect explanation I've heard was the one used for Terrell Davis. Exceptional back paired with the perfect system to magnify his strengths. Foster could crack 1000 yards on any team.

He's a product of the system, Darren McFadden is better than him. :p

Foster and the Texans are the perfect marriage. Yes, the Texans system can make good RB's even better... Tate and Ward have shown that in the last two years that if you have talent/speed, you will do well with a team that opens up big holes for you.

But Foster takes those openings and takes it to another level. His pass catching makes him even more valuable in this offense.

I'd tend to compare Foster more to Emmit Smith (but a better pass catcher than Emmit).... from the standpoint that both played behind very good offensive lines, but both have a certain tenacity, competetiveness, and seemingly an ability to get stronger as the game goes on.

Now, if Foster can do this for another 10 years, like Smith did, than the comparison will be perfect.

Is Arian Foster a product of our system, or is our system the product of Arian Foster?

Or did I just blow your mind?

    This.

Ron Dayne needs to be added to the list as well.

    Ha...

Arian is a definite superstar...One of the most exciting players to watch. The injuries gave him a slow start, but he is showing the ability to be completely unstoppable in some games (Steelers, Titans)... or the ability to finish strong with punishing runs (Jaguars) and now 8 games remaining that he could easily completely take over! - Congrats Arian!!! Do it again next month, and maybe MVP consideration? . . .

O my ...I didn't realize he had THAT good of a month, but he did . . .:

Foster’s 809 yards from scrimmage were the third-most in the month of October in the history of the NFL, trailing only Larry Brown’s 851 yards for Washington in 1972 and Eric Dickerson’s 829 yards for the Los Angeles Rams in 1983.

    ...pay him Rick!

But the question is whether or not Foster is a "winner". Compare his record with James Starks, who may not have the stats but he just wins!

I wasn't convinced he was as good as he looked last year, I though Leach was a big part of it, but he has proved me wrong so far. Good Job AF

But McFadden is the best RB in the NFL this season!

    Congrats Foster, you deserve it!
