Just got Adrian Peterson and Johnny Knox for my players of Steven Jackson and Miles Austin. Easy accept, right? Also sent my friend a trade request for the 49er's D/ST for My packers D/ST and Knowshown Moreno who has been put into the new starting role.
Someone wants to trade me Mark Ingram for Maurice Morris. Non-PPR league. I have McCoy, Greene, and Tate as my RBs, so I'm already thin at the RB position. Ingram is currently injured and Morris has a bye this week (wouldn't have been in my lineup anyway). Ingram has more upside once he gets healthy and Morris is just a filler for Detroit until Best gets healthy (another concussion; no indications yet on when he will be back). Thoughts?
Tough call. You would be pretty thin at the backup WR position if you give up Austin and your starting WRs aren't the best. Jackson has been on a roll since he got back from injury, but AP is playing like typical AP. I think it depends on how much you value the backup WR position and if you think Austin can get back on track as a #1 WR (he better because he's on my team as well). I am leaning toward accepting the trade.
Plaxico @ Buf Nate Washington v Cin Crabtree @ Wash Pierre Thomas v TB Reggie Bush @ KC Pick 3 Thinking Thomas, who has had 2 good games back to back, not to mention Ingram might not play this weekend (missed practice yesterday); Bush for sure if Thomas is out. If Thomas is in, it's a toss up. Maybe Nate? If Thomas plays, maybe Plaxico in place of Bush?
my rbs are mcgahee, blount, lawfirm and morris. i need a wr pretty bad and was offered mike williams for mcgahee. this week i'm looking at starting the baldwins and doucet. would you take this offer or counter? he has lloyd and needs a rb in case mcfadden is out again. HELP!
Someone traded for A. Johnson. They also have G. Johnson (God Johnson) and Welker. Their new team name is Johnson & Johnson. Sigh.
I had Johnson & Johnson. I was 2-1 back then. Too bad AJ got hurt. If only I could go back in time and draft Forte instead of AJ.
Johnson and Johnson drafter too, Stevie and Andre. Andre's end of season consistent production last year gave him the projection as the WR1 adp, but as a Texans fan I should have known the truth. He's not going to get any 50/50 balls or jump balls thrown his way because Kubiak doesn't like em. So the TDs aren't flowing forth like they are for Mega Johnson. Going back to traditional RB/RB or Rodgers/RB next season.
I have Rodgers but I'm thinking to save my season and FF postseason hopes I'm going to have to trade him for a package of players. I just lost Bradshaw for who knows how long and have been waiting for AJ to come back from injury to be at full strength since making the Turner+Best for AJ+Ingram trade, now it's looking like I won't be at that level ever. So should I maybe package him for a few quality players and a lesser QB?
Trade is probably a wash as Williams(TB) has been absolute trash this year; I couldn't wait to drop him as soon as he came off the Can't Cut List. If you want to counter for Lloyd, you'll have give up either Blount or BJGE.
How do you rank your rbs personally? McGahee could end up being the 2nd highest scoring back in your group behind Blount depends on how much of a leash Fox puts on Tebow. I'm personally down on BJE, with Faulk making a comeback, and I think I'd try to swing him for a bigger WR than Williams (I'm assuming TB). I'm biased and think even a McGahee at 85% is better than Knowshon Moreno, with Ball sticking as the change of pace guy.
If it's PPR then Mike Williams has been a consistent, but lower than expected producer. But only in ppr would Williams > McGahee assuming a healthy comeback.
right now i'm thinking blount, mcgahee, lawfirm. down on lawfirm for same reason you are. i told him i'd trade him for either and mcgahee for lloyd. also, not ppr and no flex. thanks guys.
which two defenses this week? i have: NO vs TB and WSH vs SF avail are: SD vs GB MIA vs KC STL vs ARI DEN vs OAK
