because of this damn lock out.. I use to look forward to log on to this website every day and night.. now.. not so much.. Anyways. F U LOCK OUT
This site will always be a mainstay for me. The GARM is what's dying. I used to always look forward to visiting that subforum and now it's pretty barren. It'll all come back once the season starts (whenever that is) though.
this- yes this- is probably the coolest gif i've seen reminds me of a flight back to houston and saw this in skymall magazine: http://www.skymall.com/shopping/det...Wg&cm_mmc=ls-_-SkyMall-_-8amvv3IABW0-_-banner laughed hysterically and the person sitting next to me looked at me annoyed.
It does feel like we are back in the dark ages without NBA action. There is a huge void in professional sports right now. If we lose an entire season, then I may just give up on the NBA. They need us more than we need them. F em.
This. And it's cyclical. Once a deal is reached and the offseason happens, it'll be mayhem in the GARM.
This is what I'm looking forward to. Rioting, looting, and 40,000 threads about who on our team sucks and should be traded because they had an off game and this team as currently constructed sucks and will never make the playoffs and morey is an idiot/genius and DD thinks Thabeet will be the next Dream if McHale would give him play and T-Mac is a crybaby and a quitter and we should tank to land a high draft pick/we need to strive to contend to please our fans and never tank because three seasons of being just outside the playoff bubble is preferable to one season of being awful and obtaining team-changing talent and let's hire JVG back, at least he brought defense to our team and what will it take to land Howard and, oh yeah, our overseas garbage may someday provide some small measure of hope for our team. Now that you mention it, I don't miss the GARM at all. It's nice to quiet our stable of idiots occasionally. I do miss the games, though, and someone really needs to get on that problem.
The problem with sports is that we break down and analyze each game over what we should do... analyzing the averages. I'm definitely guilty of this, because in sports emotion plays into everything. And when the Texans or the Rockets blow a 4th quarter lead, it blurs the line between astute analysis and psychotic ramblings. Not to mention a lot of people are biased towards a player or something. Shane Battier was almost never criticized.
I dont miss the crappy threads... I miss the team and player news.. Along with the game action of course..
I wonder what the annual traffic for Clutchfans is over the past three years. First no Yao, then no NBA. Although last year it seemed like the GARM was as busy as ever.
