Need some help clutch folks do i make this trade, who wins, regardless of the rest of my team: i give : D.Bryant,M.Lynch,D.Clark i get: Mjd,p.harvin,B.Watson I believe there's a chance the other person would accept but i'm not sure if i lose or win
MJD is steadier than Dez, but Dez has more potential for having higher scoring weekends...he also has the potential to have a few duds. I think you would be a slight winner of the proposed trade.
Harvin's too damn unreliable. Migraines last year and ribs now. And his TD was off an actual between the tackles run, not an endaround or anything. He can't be scoring that way consistently. If Harvin can consistently get the looks Jenkins got 2 weeks ago, he'll be very valuable, but we still don't know that, and Harvin hasn't played a full game in a long time.
Cam Newton is on my bye week, should I pick up Matt Cassel or Sam Bradford? Somebody offered me Big Ben and Denario Alexander for Jackie Battle and Santonio Holmes. Should I accept that offer? I've got no other QB and my other WR are Steve Johnson, DHB, Jabbar Gaffney and Preston Parker. MY other RB right now are Steven Jackson, Demarco Murray, and Daniel Thomas.
Bradford is no guarantee to play this week (high ankle sprain), so take Cassel. Accept the offer for Big Ben and flip him for RB/WR upgrades. At worst, he's your week 9 starter over Cassel.
You shouldn't even be questioning this trade. In what parallel universe is Jackie and Santonio worth more than Big Ben? Take the trade before the other guy decides to accept Arnaz Battle and Priest Holmes from a different fantasy owner. As long as you can flip Ben for better RBs/WRs then you're golden.
That's not a bad trade for both sides if you need a receiver, what's your team look like? You might be the winner with how bad CJ0K is playing.
Note to McFadden owners - expect him to NOT play vs Denver. Pick up Mike Bush if you can. He didn't practice today and they signed 2 RBs to the practice squad earlier. My thinking is that they're going to try and make sure he's complete healthy for San Diego next Thursday night.
He will certainly get some carries and he's got Chris Johnson type speed. It would be a risk though as the Raiders offense is a complete question mark right now with Palmer, but if I had to wager a guess I would think they'll be inclined to pound Mike Bush as much as they can and use Jones as a healthy change of pace guy on the outside. I wouldn't be surprised to see him take a long one to the house though.
That's what i was thinking... CJ is my only RB worth a crap, and how he's playing, that's saying alot. My WR is pretty stacked, Gennings, Welker, Jordy, Austin, and a few others that play well depending on matchups. I'd upgrade my rb to someone who scores more than 4 fantasy points, lose welker who's always a toss up. battle is a play depending on matchup as well.
Have you gotten any inclination of who Palmer may favor, receiver wise? Jacoby Ford is available and I'm not sure whether to pick him up in case they become a Palmer/Ochocinco type link up.
Now the dude countered and is asking for Demarco Murray and Steve Johnson for Big Ben and Alexander. Should I bite?
Yeah, take the deal. Murray isn't as valuable as people think. He certainly isn't a #1 and barely a #2 in deeper leagues. Murray's ideal position is a high level flex play. Johnson is great but I would probably rather have Ben. Ben has been scorching defenses with all of those receivers. I like the first deal better, holmes and battle, but even this deal is acceptable.
I agree as long as Ben can be flipped later for what he's giving up since his QB1 is Cam. Too bad you couldn't do for Holmes and Battle; that would've been a super steal. Next time, don't wait so long!
