But my upset of the week: Chargers over Packers.
I want to see DAL lose to SEA just so all hell can break loose...especially after the Philly debacle. But, knowing the Cowboys, they will beat up on the bad teams and save their frustrating play for the good teams. Then, they can watch some more tape, talk about getting better, and not get better. Ho hum.
As a Cowboys fans, it's the same old story. And it all points back to mediocre coaching, and erratic Tony Romo. I think at some point in time, the Cowboys just have to decide whether Romo is that guy. It's a QB's league right now, and if your QB is as erratic as Romo and can't even score on a consistent basis with that type of talent on the offensive end, he's not your guy. But you're right, they'll most likely win, and most Cowboys fans will think they're ready to contend again.
I feel like the Chargers will win that game as well. Especially since I just saw a yahoo article questioning whether or not the Packers can run the table.
If I was a Packers fan, I wouldn't want my team to run the table. The pressure in the playoffs would be enormous, and I don't know if the Packers are THAT dominant to be able to withstand it and run the entire table. They will most likely go 14-2.

I'm not sure if the Chargers will beat them, but the Packers defense isn't good enough for them to go 16-0. They will lose a couple of games. If/when they clinch their division and best record, avoiding injuries will become more important than winning.

No James Harrison. No James Farrior. And now, no LaMarr Woodley for this Sunday's game against Baltimore. Anybody care to change their picks?
You and me both. Just trying to be honest and let everyone know the facts upfront. I think they'll compensate by playing some variation of a 4-2 or 4-3. Which isn't a bad idea considering how poorly Lawrence Timmons has played at OLB. Moving him back to ILB where he's more focused on coverage and seeing the entire field is best for him. It also gives rookie Cameron Heyward more playing time. And on a side note: Hines Ward is expected to play so the annual Ward vs. Ed Reed mid-game brawl is ON!
I think Pittsburgh's passing game is finally starting to really gel, and I think Ward's absence last week is a sign of things to come. Hines and Donald Driver are guys who are starting based on reputation alone, while the young guys are going to be getting the majority of the looks. I think next year Mike Wallace / Antonio Brown will be the best WR combo in the league.
Yeah. I mean, everybody in this city knows the deal with Hines. He's old and slow but he's achieved such legendary status here to the point where the team and fans simply don't care. But you're absolutely right. The team didn't lose a step without him in the lineup. If anything, they were better. That said, I'm very excited he's playing this week. Terrell Suggs stated in an interview this week that Pittsburgh-Baltimore isn't the same without him. And I expect him to play big with the way they were gunning for him in week one. Expect some of this: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/yfM6VLqh95M" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I'm glad he's going to be out there too. In other news LaDarius Webb just said that he thinks Antonio Brown is better than Mike Wallace. Love the mind games WR/DBs try to play during the week leading up to the game.
So now Antonio Brown is gonna play like he wants to prove Webb is right... And Wallace is gonna try and prove that Webb is wrong.... Great job Webb!!!... Ray Lewis probably slapped the hell out of him immediately afterward...
