Josh by a MILE! So at times in the PM when charlie goes to commercials i dial down to 610. Josh is freaking b****ing about the sun light at reliant stadium and how its a distraction...blah blah blah. Im like well really the sun has been a part of football forever, you're really going to wine about that? So annoying...

I almost never listen to them. Of the little time I tune into sports radio, 95% of it is AM790. Just randomly switched the dial during a 5 min drive to pick my son up from school. This guy was needling Innes about (I think) his questions for Kubiak on the weekly show yesterday. To clarify, I truly believe Innes is pathetic and can't stand him for several reasons. In this particular case, I thought the caller was being silly and way too critical of him. The caller's persistence (ignorance IMO) wore out Innes' patience, caused him to melt down & say some very trashy things and then Lord lowered the BOOM! on him. His choice of words was incredibly harsh. It was so bad I didn't think the show could continue. After a couple more mins, I got a phone call and turned the radio off. All of this happened in about 5-6 minutes. If that was the last of Josh Innes on AM610, they will be much better off for it. At the very least, it may be hard for him and Rich Lord to work together. There has to be some hard feelings.
I had high hopes for Craig Roberts. I grew up watching Sports Sunday with Craig Roberts. He just doesn't do well on radio, and he got canned from 790 and is now on 92.1.

Here what I can remember (and am willing to post): After getting fed up, Josh asked if the caller wanted him to be a "vag" when asking Kubiak questions. There was other stuff too. It was worse than what I'm able to describe. Then Lord says to Innes VERY loudly, "Will you just shut up!?", "Just shut [maybe more stuff] up!", "I can't stand it when you do that!" He said more but I can't remember. You could feel the anger and outrage in Rich's voice. It was a total, humiliating beat-down. He really should have hit the mute button and kept it in-house. I was hoping someone else here heard it, had a better memory and would expound.

His contract was about to expire is what those tweets are about but I doubt this incident helped his cause to be renewed. I don't understand how this guy got the afternoon job then continued to hold it despite: being probably the most unprofessional person I have ever heard on the radio (including Howard Stern - his target audience is the unprofessional), his partner hating him, and people writing/texting/starting facebook petitions/calling in to get him fired daily. If you ever google his name, you can find what people in Baton Rouge have to say about him and its pretty Anti-Josh Anus
That's actually pretty skillful. I actually heard from a source that early in his tenure that was no middle ground with the Innes experiment. Either it goes incredibly well or incredibly disastrous.
Don't forget about the fact that he doesn't really know a whole lot about.....sports. And that's kind of a drag when you're a sports talk host. Innes would be a better fit for a 104 morning zoo-type show. You know...the kind that only stupid people listen to. Houston sports radio is just pathetic. I don't know why you guys listen to it so much but for the unintentional humor.
I didn't catch this, but on the Matt Thomas show yesterday, he was saying that Mighty Douchebag was talking about Twilight on his show. Is this guy for ****ing real? Seriously, Anus and Douchebag should man a show together overnights on 97.5 so we won't have to hear their ****ing asswipes.
I sure do hope that @$$ clown Innes gets fired. He has ruined that show. I don't really care for the 610 morning show, but at least they are tolerable. Innes is juvenile in every sense of the word. He's just some obnoxious kid. I wish they would pair Rich with a couple of ex-players, try a couple of them out. Greg Koch, Matt Bullard, someone.
He actually got a chance to host Jim Rome's show, didn't he? Doesn't that mean that someone at the station thinks highly of him? I don't get it.
