I don't see Walking Dead ever getting an Emmy and Golden Globe for Best TV drama every season its been on air like Mad Men has.
Which one has the MOST PEOPLE WATCHING that is what adverts like to hear about To me .. people watching is an indicator of how good folx think it is Rocket River
I love how the music from the opening scene segways to the opening credits. Part of it could just be the music itself is awesome.
Bear McCreary's pretty awesome. On the electricity and running water, I have no problems assuming those systems would remain self sufficient for some time - but I really don't know much about either.
And the asian dude is only competing with a half-dead brother, an evil cop, a married cop, an old guy, and a hillbilly who seems to like the suicidal blonde. It's really between the asian guy and the cop who has something to hide...and the cop might have too much mental baggage now. In this reality, asian guy has a chance! Spoiler
Major spoiler. Spoiler And if the show follows the comic, that Kimchi is God's apology for what happens to him afterwards.
I know they mention a gate, but how come they're so casual at that farm house? There are hungry zombies roaming everywhere, yet everyone is outside having heart to heart talks and enjoying a cup of cappuccino watching the sun set. The house has no defenses set up. Wake Up People!
That chick shouldn't be out of anyone's league. She's average. Nothing special. I've seen hotter zombies.
From the directions given to Glenn, it's down a country road off the freeway, so maybe it's secluded enough in the South. In the comic you never see it, but they mention a huge fence around the farm.
Have they even ask the Vet's family if they've seen the little girl? Wouldn't that be the first thing they talk to them about once the kid is stabilized? I'm sure they did, I just probably don't remember.
"Oh... you were looking for a girl? Why didn't you say so? We have her tied up in the barn." (tying together multiple mysteries).
I was wondering why Shane was so passionate with Rick in the scene at the house, it was very over the top. Now I know why.
Shane made a bad trade. Fat man had medical knowledge, hunting knowledge and was good with a gun. Killing him to save the dead weight little kid was bad strategy.
so, you'll think they both live if shane doesn't do what he did? i would think the logical conclusion is they both die. what i don't get is why shane just didn't shoot otis in the head? what is implied is it's better to have live bait in that scenario...but somehow i don't think the zombies would care if they are eating a freshly killed person versus an injured person...unless they established that zombies ignore fresh kills before. they are attracted to uninfected blood is my understanding. a headshot kill would have worked. or, was shane actually being judge, jury, and executioner for otis shooting the boy? i don't see how either of them would have survived if one of them wasn't sacrificed...unless the truck was right around the corner or something. but, that's fiction for you. they survived the craziness up to that point...so why not?
