I challenge you to go to a SPANISH forum and ask if Llull is a good PG. If you can get even half of the Spaniards to agree then you will have truly accomplished something.
So you are saying that it wouldn't be unanimous that Llull is a bad PG? His stats would argue against your opinion. This is also the same person that was arguing that he wasn't a PG; and now you seem to be on the Llull sucks as a point guard agenda.
The Real Madrid freaking website has his profile as a PG. http://www.realmadrid.com/cs/Satellite/en/1193041483332/1193041491508/jugador/Jugador/Llull.htm
I have explained this about 100 times already. Llull is NOT a PG. He is a SG. Last year they tried to convert him to a PG and it was scrapped after about 2 weeks. This year they once tried the same thing. It won't last long this year either, as it will be scrapped again. Simply because he can't play the position - at all. anchel is the only person from Europe I have ever heard that thinks Llull is a PG. Of course, once he gets moved back to SG yet again.........anchel and you will pretend it did not happen, just as it was pretended it did not happen last year. Just like it is pretended that he does not play SG on the national team........or that he did not play SG exclusively before that in Real Madrid. Sergio Llull is NOT a PG, no matter what his position is listed as. He is a pure scorer. He has literally zero play making skills and is almost allergic to passing the ball. He's about 1/3 as much of a PG as Francis was.
The reason why you have had to explain it about 100 times is because you are wrong. If someone is playing PG, that would suggest that they are.....wait for it......playing the point. You were wrong; just let it go.
Every single season they try to play him at PG and after about 2 weeks he is moved back to SG. This same thing happened last year and anchel never admitted it. He is a SG, and in fact.......... Real Madrid website lists him as a combo guard, NOT a PG: http://www.realmadrid.com/cs/Satellite/es/1193040475311/1193040598963/jugador/Jugador/Llull.htm The Spanish League lists him as a SG, NOT a PG: http://www.acb.com/jugador.php?id=B7G FIBA Europe lists him as a SG, NOT a PG: http://www.acb.com/jugador.php?id=B7G FIBA World lists him as a SG, NOT a PG: http://turkey2010.fiba.com/pages/en...4540/rid//sid/4728/tid/362/tid2//profile.html FIBA International lists him as a SG, NOT a PG: http://www.fiba.com/pages/eng/fa/player/p/pid/44540/sid/7526/tid/362/_/2011_EuroBasket/index.html He is a SHOOTING GUARD that can handle the ball and bring it up the court. That's it. Not even in a Spanish basketball forum could you get half the people to agree he is a PG. anchel has been trolling this forum for a long time with this claim that Llull is a PG. He is not. You can't be a PG if you ave zero point guard skills other than dribbling, and if you are a pure scorer. And just so you know........Real Madrid is already talking about again this year, already moving him back to SG, the same as every year. This "point guard" has played maybe 10 games at point guard in total, in the last THREE YEARS.
OHMSS reminds me of that dude that would go crazy when someone would say Tracy McGrady is a point forward. Same person?
Hypocrite much? You have sworn that Spanoulis is incapable of playing in the NBA and is a horrible, horrible player and that no one at his level could possibly play in the NBA...... Then you claim Llull would be "a nice backup point guard". Strange.......considering Spanoulis is a better player than Llull is. Sergio Llull Euroleague stats --> http://www.euroleague.net/competition/players/showplayer?pcode=TGB Vassilis Spanoulis Euroleague stats --> http://www.euroleague.net/competition/players/showplayer?pcode=JUO So....according to you, one of the worst players in NBA history, and a guy that under no circumstances could ever play at the NBA level (Spanoulis).......the same guy that is a better player than Llull........... can't play in NBA, but the guy that is a worse player than him (Llull), will be a "nice backup point guard". How can a guy that is a worse player than "one of the worst players in NBA history" possibly be a "nice backup point guard"? Especially, when that player is actually a shooting guard, and not even a point guard? OHMSS
He is a guard. In the Princeton we run, and in the offense Madrid runs, it really is insignificant...
VSpan could have played PG, if he didn't p***y up and head back to broke ****ing Greece to play Rocket mountain oyster ball. DD
Are you sure? I remember reading a few posts of his where he claimed Spanoulis was possibly the worst point guard in NBA history, that he could never play at the NBA level under any circumstances, and that in fact Rubio was vastly superior to him. The same Rubio that was considered the worst point guard of the recent Euroleague era. That's kind of strange talk coming from a Spanoulis fan.
Rubio is better than VSpan, because Rubio can go left and decided to come challenge himself by playing in the best league in the world. DD
Rubio was universally considered the worst rotation point guard in the Euroleague. And "can go left".......apparently, you have never seen either Rubio or Spanoulis play. Not only does Spanoulis "go left", he actually prefers that and does that most of the time. Rubio, on the other hand, has almost virtually zero ability to drive and penetrate in the half court. You seem to talk a lot about your basketball knowledge, yet you never actually show any in your posts. It's contradictory. OHMSS
