It wasn't a diss on the Texans. It was a play on words on the team that shut down Ray Rice the week before. 8 Carries for 28 yards(3.5 average) isn't shutting down anyone. The fact that the Jags were never more than 2 scores ahead shows how much of the "shutting down" of Rice was on the Ravens. Hence, the texans did not run for 156 yards on the team that shut down Rice, they ran for it against the Jags.
No my good man, I know about the Jaguars-Knighton bit but the Titans apparently decided to spout off as well. From the Sportingnews
Texans handled business and people are still whining what a shocker. No team in the NFL is perfect see Saints/Rams this last weekend. But the Texans are top ten in most categories both offensively and defensively and are winning and winning comfortably against the teams they MUST beat, division foes. Let's get AJ and Casey back in there and watch the nitpicks regarding the offense disappear. Afterall how many complete games have AJ, Tate, and Foster played together? One?
We're winning "in the trenches" type games now... Our offensive line is stepping on D-linemen.... Dirty teams win... I love it..
Aha, it seems I was driving a volkswagon while you were piloting a Ferrari !! Well spoken and I stand corrected. DD
I'm about to upgrade from my 612 so no worries, I'll pass that on to you brother. We'll both be "Piloting" Ferrari's!
But it's legal. The Titans on the other hand are noted for their illegal and underhanded antics in the trenches. I don't think many Texans players took that to the press but if you ask them who's the dirtiest team in the league I think they'd still go with the Titans.
r****ded - they push players behind their backs when they're not looking? man the eff up! everyone pushes and shoves after a play is over on both sides of the ball.
Most of it is legal, but I suspect there are some leg whips. I wouldn't want to be caught under a dog pile with the "choir boys" we call an offensive line and a number 2 WR. The Titans are dirty, too, but not as dirty as they were outside CB.
