Though I would tend to doubt Caine never harassed any of his cute little minimum wage pizza employees, leave it alone. The bozo, like Perry, Bachman, and Palin (as a liberal I miss her already!!) is entertaining and shows how clueless the GOP is now that its whole deregulation/trickle down project is being discredited.

I don't know why GOP candidates are suppose to get a free pass on values and integrity but Dems are pounded with made up birther b.s.

And politico is a right-leaning media outlet.

    1. I don't think Politico was trying to do anything other than reporting a juicy bit of rumor. Par for the course for that outfit.

    2. I don' think the content of the report itself is damning or shocking news. He was apparently accused of sexual harassment and the NRA paid to settle it. Doesn't mean he did harass these women- companies often choose to settle litigations to avoid the legal expenses (to that end, I'd be curious to know how much they settled for).

    3. The interesting part of the story, to me, is how the campaign handled it. Seems like Politico tried to talk with the Cain camp for at least 10 days before coming out with the story and they never got their story together. So, the message started with "I don't recall anything/not gonna say anyting" and only later turned into a flat-out denial after the story was out.

Kind of reminded me how Cain handled other issues like electrified fence and abortion. I mean, jeez, can Cain get the message together on the first try on any issue?

    Don't care.

9-9-9 is his problem, not sexual harassment.

I think that's because this is really his first campaign. all his flaws are being shown primetime, he has never had to handle these questions and all of sudden he's the favorite in the polls two months before the primaries

I think it's more that he only intended the whole campaign as publicity for him, and to sell books, which is why instead of campaigning half the time, he's still doing paid speaking engagements.

I agree - he sounds more publicity stunt than presidential candidate.

As a publicity stunt, his candidacy has been a resounding success. I'm sure his speaker fees and book sales will go through the roof. I suppose it's better for him to be taken down by some mild scandal than because his 9-9-9 tax plan is so stupid it was rejected by GOP voters in the primary. His agent can talk up about how he was robbed of the presidency by slander.

Cain even said he was going to scale back his campaign-that right there should be an indictation that he's not serious about running.
