Is the comic still being published? Or, is this an old comic? I know nothing about the comic version. How did it end in the comic (use spoiler tags obviously)...if it ended?
Really great episode. Love the character transformations. Shane, from a leader begins to turn into a villian. Daryl starts to help others and becoming more of a leader. And Rick begins to break down and finally show real emotion.
theres little details like that missed every where in this show. show still moving slow to me... i mean what really happened this episode from last? kid got better (big surprise ) the stupid girl is still lost and they just keep doing dumb ****. at least it had good character change/development this episode.
I dont undrstand how they are still getting electricity and running, clean water. But I do think this was among my favorite episodes yet.
Don't know if anyone watched the talking dead, but they had a poll I wanna ask as well. Would you: A. Try to run away with otis Or B. Shoot otis and save yourself.
You really think so? I never had the overwhelming urge to fast forward during the first season even when it started to go to crap toward the end. I've taken to browsing the interweb while it's on. They really didn't look like they were in danger of getting caught by the zombies. What's up with Shane wasting water? I really hope this whole season isn't about them trying to find this girl.
I missed tonights due to work. From what my gf tells me, and the little that I read here (trying not to read much), sounds like it was a good one.
Spoiler I swear to God, I knew what Shane did the second he came back alone. I am one sick puppy. And this show has way too many subplots. I don't care if it works in the comic, because the comic doesn't have commercials. Will the brat die? Shane's switching to the dark side. What's in the barn. Will they find the little girl. Will Andrea forgive the old geezer. Will the Korean bang the chick with Asian fever. Will Daryl find his redneck brother. Will Otis survive. Will Andrea decide whether to eat a bullet or not. Prediction, the little girl is alive and saw Shane shoot the fat guy. Just a thought. PS, I love Walking Dead. It's infuriating, but it's the best thing on TV by a mile.
Spoiler And this show has way too many subplots. I don't care if it works in the comic, because the comic doesn't have commercials. the comic has ads purely speculative answers based on the show, not the comic. I also realize that some of these are rhetorical, but I'll comment anyway: Will the brat die? No Shane's switching to the dark side. He's trying to redeem himself What's in the barn. Herschel claims that the zombie plague is just a sickness.... Will they find the little girl. I think so Will Andrea forgive the old geezer. I think so Will the Korean bang the chick with Asian fever. Absolutely Will Daryl find his redneck brother. My guess is season 4 or the end of season 3, Meryle will pop up in a big way. Will Otis survive. As a zombie Will Andrea decide whether to eat a bullet or not. No. But she needs to lose the 'the 80's are back!' shirt that shouldn't exist in her reality Prediction, the little girl is alive and saw Shane shoot the fat guy. Just a thought. thats a great theory!
Thought last night's episode was the best of the bunch, funny I was thinking the same thing about the bread, lights and water others have mentioned on here....
None of this stuff is far-fetched: People have been making bread for 1000s of years without electricity. People have also been pulling well water for 1000s of years without electricity. There are ranches around me that have their own water towers, too. If they do have one and it's full, it could last months. Herschel seems like a bright/resourceful guy, he may have some windmills behind his house. Other comments: Does anyone else think that Rick and Lori look like siblings? I bet that Shane didn't latch the gate when he came in. Otis had to die. No way they could sustain a guy that heavy in zombie-land.
Ok... How are they getting water and electricity? It's a farm off of the highway so it's possible they have their own well and maybe a windmill and solar panels or something. Daryl is awesome. He should have had a line with Andrea when asking about her killing herself where he said something like "Do you need sympathy sex or something?"
