What a beat down; hopefully this will be a wake up call for the red devils.

If city keeps playing like this the 2nd leg against Bayern will be an awesome game to watch.

trust me about clichy, been an arsenal fan for years.... plays great for the most part but just switches off at key time sometimes. It can be so frustrating at times. That's also true of the whole arsenal defense though.

Yeah I haven't seen him much other than the games he's played for ManC, I think the fact he has to fight for his place with Kolarov has him competing. He can't seem to pass or cross the ball but he's been solid on defense.

Jontro, I agree that Toure is better than Lescott, but he's not an elite player at his position. ManCity has top quality all over the field, if they want to compete with Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern, they've got to have an impregnable defense.

clichy has some of the worst crosses i have ever seen for a player that attacks so well in general. Hopefully gibbs can get healthy for us, i think he is an improvement over clichy and so is santos. That boy can score, tied clichy's total score total in 8 years in like three games.

Santos is god awful on defense though. I can't even count how many times he got burned down the wing against chelsea

i think the problem with him is fitness and adjusting to the prem. He improved dramatically in the second half though and i'll take that santos over clichy.

Playing with City on my Fifa 12 career. Management let Lescott get signed and then turned around and signed Lucio to be there RCB. Awesome. They also signed Fazio another CB to shore up there defensive depth. But midfield up City is crazy deadly.

He;s always had top class talent, the only thing holding him back was his injuries.

BTW nice to see ManCity continue to steamroll through Premier league competition. Unbeaten season is possiblÉ....

Any chance that someone goes after Donavan during the winter transfer window?

I would think he has done it all in the USA, and now that he is divorced, may want to give the EPL or another top league a good look?

    Maybe Everton?

Maybe he can find a husband in the EPL. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Okay so are you going to actually explain why you believe he is gay or just keep making jokes about what you feel his sexual orientation is?

Like you said, not that there is anything wrong with that because I know and I'm sure a bunch of journo's and fans know a number of other players in various leagues that are in the closet.

Still, if you're going to keep making jokes then you might as well explain why you believe he is gay. Did you see him at a gay club in Cologne or Munich sometime over the last few years?

Puhleaze man. There's gayer pictures of him out there. New York Times-2002 World Cup-Water fountain picture.
Terribly gay pic but that still doesn't constitute proof of his "gayness".

I don't have "proof", but I have seen the guy around when he was at Bayern and I am usually the last person to notice it when someone is gay, but in his case, the "gaydar" was off the charts as soon as dude entered the room.

Besides, who needs proof when you have pics like this:

    The one you mentioned

I dunno, but look at this picture and tell me it's not "fake" (she looks really hot, by the way).

As always...not that there is anything wrong with that :p.

Maybe one of the gay posters on here could tell us what they think - is he gay or not. Not that it really matters or that there is anything wrong with that. Not sure how I even got into this discussion. Gotta go back to the "Best Rack" thread in the Hangout now .

ATH- I was about to mention something about his ex-wife in my prior post but I left it out. My goodness, she was so out of his league. She is the #1 B-list actress on my list.

Anyway, yeah I mean there are suspicions, just like there are with a bunch of other nfl and nba players but with no proof, meh.
