Well, Jags front 7 is legit... definitely not struggling as much as the Ravens were. Time for a defensive score?
We need points (goes without saying). we are a couple of stupid plays form a tie ball game. Shades of the Oakland game; letting a lesser team stay in the ball game only to lose in the end.
It was knocked out of his hands from below. Still though, Jacoby never goes to meet the ball or adjust to where it coming. There he should saw it would be a little be short, let up, and jump to get the ball. But this is Jacoby we are talking about...
We acutually looked BETTER in the Oakland game. That being said, if we don't turn the ball over (like we did in that game), I don't think Jacksonville can move the ball enough on their own.
Does the play calling leave a lot to be desired or is it just me? A draw on third and twenty-three? Then an entire series of passes? Beats me.
I agree no urgency. it's like they think 7 points is enough to win after watching the MNF game last week.
Well, the Jaguars have also played better defense since the first drive. Also, I don't think the Jags offense will score today unless we gift them a turnover or a long return.
That's what I saw, too. It could have been led more, but it fell right to Jacoby, who never put his hands up to catch it. Rather, he let the ball come down to his lap so the defense could knock it out.
Arrgh... we can clearly beat them over the top. Schaub needs to either go back to underthrowing or we need faster recievers. Maybe its the sun/open roof's fault.
