The Texans have the 7th best run defense, giving up an average of 99.3 yards a game. They have the 8th best pass defense, giving up an average of 203.6 yards a game. Overall, they have the 8th best defense, giving up an average of 302.9 yards a game.
BATTLE RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's go TEXANS!!! ....guess sleeping would make game time arrive quicker.
Yea! btw, this weekend game seemed to get here quick for some reason. It's like boom Sunday all of a sudden
Those numbers are misleading. The Colts, Dolphins, Steelers, Ravens, and Titans all have ****ty offenses. Using the eyeball test, I would say our run defense is way better due to Cushing being macho and William's and Manning's injuries hurting our pass defense. You more knowledgeable fans; are Phillip's defenses known for being better against the run or pass?
I don't like this game. It is a trap. Classic Texans. It will be a low scoring turnover fest. MJD is the difference and Jags win the TOP battle. Jags 17 Texans 16
They're designed to make life hell for pocket QBs and contain (not stuff) the run. Quick release west coast passers can eat this scheme up, and we've seen how shaky it is against a two minute drill.
I'm feeling it too, codell. Just seems like a classic Texan let down game. Maybe they prove us wrong this week and we finally stop expecting the worst from the Texans...
Well if the Texans lose today, at what point is it the "Texans sucking" or is it the "Jaguars are actualy pretty good"? The Jags have had a brutal schedule... and the teams they've lost to aren't bad at all. They've also played all their opponents pretty close, other than the NYJ on the road in week 2.
