Stern: "There's no guarantee that we're going to get a deal done but we're going to give it a heck of a shot."

Stern on being in Hunter press conference: No, just that we're right across the hall from each other. We did it las night also.

Stern on whether need system framework before BRI: I think we'll get there tomorrow.

Silver: We don't see the two issues as tradeoffs ... one goes to overall economic health and the other to competitive balance and parity.

Stern said Mark Cuban was "passing through New York," so we told him to come in.

Stern says "yes" when asked it would be a failure for parties not to get a deal.

Stern: We're prepared to negotiate over everything . We're looking forward to it. (when asked if prepared to make economic move.)

He's also in a good mood (joking, smiling) and indicated tomorrow as a big day. I think a deal will take place next week.

They did say they didn't talk BRI at all these past 2 days (20+ hours??) so I doubt it's going to be tomorrow. Next week hopefully.
