I don't see how you can count the Steelers when they tied up the game in the fourth quarter. We won, but only the defense was dominant that game.
We dominated both halves of that game between the running game and defense. The only reason it was close was because of two really asinine whistles.
When you add up the round robin between the Steelers, Ravens, Titans, Jags, and Texans it just doesn't compute so you better just be ready for anything every week. I do like our chances when we can sell out against the run.
I was gonna say... We've thoroughly dominated 3 games; played two very good teams close on the road; and had an unfortunate off-day at home. Not too terrbily much to complain about, IMO. BTW, don't know if this has been posted yet but our combined score against the AFC South this year is 75-14.
It was a pretty dominant performance everywhere but the scoreboard. We rushed for 180 yards; were +6 sacks/turnovers (we had 0 and lost 2 to sketchy-ish penalities); and hung a 19-play, 10:55 drive on them that more or less took the air out of the game. I list that as dominant.
If you read my post after that, you'll understand why I said that. I know we creamed the Titans last Sunday but that's one game this season (aside from the Colts game). I'm talking about consistency and how we don't do it on a normal basis, or even semi-regular basis for that matter against teams we should be doing it to. I'm not convinced by just 2 games like maybe other people are that we would dominate the Jaguars this coming Sunday, especially after they beat the Ravens. Also taking into account that we're such a Jekyl and Hyde team (throughout our history), there's just no way I'd predict us to win big this Sunday. But like I said, they can prove me wrong with this game.
McClain_on_NFL John McClain Andre Johnson and FB James Casey participated in every drill in practice. AJ is still day to day, Kubiak says. AnnaMegan Anna-Megan Raley SR610: Texans WR Andre Johnson, TE James Casey both return to practice today. Kubiak says Casey should play Sunday. Johnson is day-to-day.
If I take that to mean Casey is 100% and Andre is getting closer to 100%....than I think it's best for Andre to sit out, or at least dress but be held back Sunday. Unless the Jags are giving it to us, I'd rather play it safe with that hamstring.
Don't forget the punt block return for TD that was negated by penalty, and the Roethlisberger pick-6 that was also negated by penalty. The game wasn't nearly as close as the score indicated.
Lol you think the Jags are gonna hold us to 10 points? I know I know the held the Ravens to 9 but I bet the deed to my house we put up more points than 10 Andre or no Andre.
All of this feels wildly made-up. Jacksonville has scored 20+ points just once this year; the Texans have scored 20 or fewer points just twice this year and their rush defense is the 7th best in football. MJD is obviously very capable and anything can happen in the NFL, but...
You're a Jags fan if I remember correctly, right? If so, I will give you a pass on this ridiculous post. If not, then you're just trolling.
