Thanks for misquoting me *******. Somebody asked me if I thought McFadden was better, at that time... he was. I also mentioned in that very thread (and you can go find it) that if Foster came back and had some beast games that he would make me eat my words. I just ****ing admitted to you ******* idiots that I was wrong and you still try to rub it in my face? Go **** yourselves. When I'm chatting with Arian later I'm gonna be sure and mention how it must suck to have so many fickle fans.
Just messing with ya. Arian definitely has a different type of personality. He's like an f'n hipster or something.
By the way, there's no point in arguing. We all know DeMarco Murray is going to be the best RB for the next 15 years.
Living in TN., so many U of Ten. fans tell me all the time he isn't the same Foster from college watching him now, he seems faster now and didn't show the agility or vision in college he does now. (after I gloated to everyone about the win-lol) Not many times a player looks THAT much better in the pros...Now he looks like one of the best at his position or close to it if not... Congrats Arian!
I just look at it this way, if you told me I could swap any player of the same position (RB) in the league for Foster, I would have great difficulty naming anyone. ... QB - I could think of 9 WR - maybe just 1 (sorry Dre) #2 CB - anyone else btw - not saying you couldn't eventually name a RB you would rather have, just that along with Dre (with the exception of megatron maybe) it would require a lot of time to think thru which player of the same position you would rather have...
Looking ahead, there's a chance only one between Mario and Arian will get resigned by the Texans, and Arian might be pulling ahead, depending on how the defense (and how well Brooks Reed plays) perform without Mario.
i think Arian's all but locked in. I still think Mario will be back since you don't want to lose him for nothing but I suppose there is a chance. If Reed proves himself to be a legit full time, top notch pass rushing threat it makes things interesting. It will be interesting to see what he commands in dollar terms. On the one hand, he does help this defense and he did look pretty dang good in the OLB position and on the other, the money he'd free is tempting.
I just dont get why, despite having him on our practice squad, it took until the last couple games to bring him up and give him a shot. We could've lost him at any point to another team that wanted to pick him up off the practice squad.
