Anyone planning on seeing this? My friend wants to, so I'll probably watch it on Friday. This looks like it's going to be one of those movies that has a really far-out and crazy plot, so it's either going to be really good or really bad(judging by the trailers, it looks to be more the latter, but as Inception taught me, trailers aren't everything).
Saw it at a press screening last night. In short, It was awful. Poorly acted by the two leads and boring.
How does someone make time? By the look of the trailer it looks like you can probably just kidnap someone and steal his/her time. Right?
Just saw this movie the other day. Awful. Just bad. Which is unfortunate - the premise, though wacky, at least has a cool this might work sci-fi feel to it. But the story was amateur. The acting was mediocre at best. The set design was horrible. The CGI was ridiculous, etc, etc. do not waste your time on this movie.
Fount it entertaining, not as bad as you make it. Sure there are holes but if you want entertainment for one evening it's alright.
I thought it was interesting then just kind of fell apart in the 2nd half. The premise would never work though. If you could just steal time from someone and you were close to dying it would be mass hysteria with everyone looting each others time.
Put it on last night and immediately fell asleep. You make it sound just as terrible as I had worried it might be.
