I keep rewatching this over and over, well, when I open the thread. where did #25 come from? that was almost a 90+ yard td.
Winstons pile driver body slam on that play was beastly. How demoralizing for a D-lineman. It looked like Amobi Okoye last year trying to play defense.
Oh geez, lets start Tate, Tate is great, Tate trucks, Tate is better, Tate, Tate, Tate... go **** yourselves. You know who you are. Suckers.
Foster has a good shot to win the award again this week. There D-line has been getting gashed. Our zone blocking system is perfect for teams like the Raiders who are big up front. There secondary is also known for being horrendous at tackling. I think Arian has a fair chance to really cement it in people's minds that he is not just a system back. I wondered too at times, but watching him against the Steelers where he was making POLU miss by making moves, I said to myself that he was the real deal.
Hey. Foster needs to be careful. If he's kidnapped by Colombian cartel members and dismembered, Tate's going to take his starting spot.
Speed - slightly above average (very good burst speed) Cutting ability/Agility - Elite/top shelf Blocking - if not elite for a RB, almost elite Punch in ability from redzone - Elite/top shelf Receiving skills - for a RB-Elite/top shelf Intangibles- (power running, decision making, etc) - Very good to Elite Vision - legendary Simply the best, most complete RB today! and just think he was once rejected by everyone...
How much would y'all pay Foster? 1. Is an elite back, system or not. 2. Fan favorite in Houston. 3. Did not pull a Chris Johnson about not getting paid. That earned so much respect in my eyes. I would give the guy 10 million a year for 5 years and guarantee 50% of that contract. I really feel like we have a future HOF on our team not named Andre Johnson.
That was definitely a thing of beauty...this is why he's special and will get the big contract... And well deserved for the award...
What's interesting - the optimum, and I would argue designed cutback lane is actually to his right. Walter, specifically, has the second level sealed and AJ is moving to the third level to clean up the scraps. Jacoby is actually (seemingly) caught-off guard and scrambles (to his credit) to find someone to block. Had Foster cut right and burst through the first level, it very well could have been a 90-yarder.
what does aaron rodgers has to do with the AFC last time I checked rodgers plays for the NFC, and the award Foster won was AFC Offensive Player of the Week, so I dont understand your comment.
People seem to forget I'm not the one who said McFadden was the best RB in the league. I said if Foster didn't come back strong than DMC would leapfrog him, Arian came back strong so I'm obviously going to go ahead and say that I was wrong and Foster is arguably the best in the league. I like Arian, he's my type of cat... sees the world for what it is and tries to put a positive spin on it. Most people don't get it.
