Really? It can depend on the type of app you're developing.
Angry Birds is a good example, they make alot more money on Android than they do on iOS.

Developers also have more freedom within the Android market.

However with iOS you can bring your apps across a variety of devices like iPads, iPods, iPhones...

I personally don't submit any of my apps to the App Store and will let my dev account expire but Apple users don't benefit from my idea's what so ever so it's okay:p

just read that this device does NOT have gorilla glass. i was debating on switching to verizon for it, but this may be a deal breaker (would have made my third carrier in five months). i enjoy not having to put a case on a phone for fear of scratching. definitely will not get any gb phone with hopes of it getting upgraded to ics.

just toying around with the idea for now. we'll see.

    Screen protector? lol

Gorilla Glass isn't all that great from my own experiences. Works well for alot of others though so I can understand. If rooting isn't your thing, I recommend the Razr. That for sure is going to get ICS.
There's a reason Motorola has been putting TI Omap's in their phones.

    lol. screen protector.

not trolling this thread... just curious why samsung didn't go that route. curved gorilla glass has been done before. i'm still on the fence.

Yeah that's definitely true. User preference of course, I've scratched up a Gorilla Glass screen before so I just use screen protectors. I hate ZAGG though, with a passion. I'm sorry but they just make all screens looks greasy lol

What other phone interests you at the moment?

of course gorilla glass is not perfect. i dropped a hp veer a couple of months ago (curved gorilla glass) and it shattered, so it's definitely not without it's faults... especially here in galveston with all the sand.

i'm taking a look at the nexus and the nokia 800 (leaked today and looks as sexy as the n9). we'll see. :)

Windows Phone 7, Microsoft's mobile OS. Looks great, really nice UI, some interesting features, not in too many handsets and kind of struggling behind iOS and Android in terms of adoption. A recent partnership with Nokia should result in more devices out soon, including the very nice looking N9.

I hope ATT gets the 5.3in Note. I only actually use my phone for talking a few hours a month at most.

I'd have the S2 by now had they just released it in the U.S. when it first came out! Now that its out we have all these slightly better phones on the horizon.

I am getting confused, which one is better, the Note or the Nexus?
Also, do they finally have a good software for syncing with a Mac? (As far as I remember, Kies only worked with Windows?!)
