Your own administration wants you to drop down to D-3. That's how badly Rice sucks at football. You are about to get a dry gulch, Shawshanking, and you know it.

Rice's injuries are a concern. And that keeps me from predicting an Owl victory.

....but I've seen the UH defense, and I know we've taken 2 of the last 3 from the Coogs, so I'm not overly impressed by them. Weak schedule for the Coogs, too.

Over/under for Case throwing 5 TD passes against Rice?

    I'll take the over.

Yeah. I've seen Rice this year - all aspects of their game.

Injuries? Lmao. You have to have good players in order for injuries to be a factor. It's going to be an ole fashion Ass kicking Thursday night and you know it. Have fun playing arkansas state in front of 5,000 ppl in the sun belt!

You're right. UH clearly has the weak defense. http://www.cfbstats.com/2011/leader/national/team/defense/split01/category09/sort01.html

And offensively Rice is really cooking! http://www.cfbstats.com/2011/leader/national/team/offense/split01/category09/sort01.html

Rice is going to get killed on Thursday, but you provided some of the most useless stats I have ever seen.

Rice plays UT, Baylor, Purdue, and Northwestern as their non-conference schedule, while UH plays N. Texas, Louisiana Tech, Georgia State and a weak UCLA team.

Come on man. The level of competition has proven fairly inconsquential to a Keenum led offense. The Cougars have finished 1st, 10th and 13th in scoring offense and are currently 1st again this season. That's not just a crappy schedule. Do you really think UH would not put up big numbers on Baylor, Purdue, UT, and NW?

I didn't say UH couldn't score points against a good team. I pointed out that the statistics you provided are useless because Rice has played a much harder schedule than UH.

If UH had played UT, Purdue, and Baylor, and Rice had played Georgia State, N. Texas, and Louisiana Tech, then the stats you provided would look a lot different. I think UH will win big on Thursday, but the game may possibly be closer than the stats you provided. The only BCS team UH has played this year was UCLA and UH pulled the game out 38-34, so I still have some doubts about the Cougars.

Well, I hope the Cougars keep winning and get a good bowl game because I want to see how they will do against one of the top teams. At this point all we can do is make a guess.

why can't people just admit that their school sucks at a particular sport? And by particular, I mean most.

I don't think any of the Cougar fans on the board have a problem with a Rice fan saying positive things about their team and being hopeful.

Rice beat Purdue and played Texas and Baylor well in spurts. I expect them to be competitive for a while until we exhaust their defense.

Sexxxy Texxxy gloats FOREVER after a win, disappears after a loss (until UH or UT has some sort of bad news in which case he is on it like a dachshund after a dropped chunk of pot roast).

Thus even though I root for Rice against everyone but UH, I hope we put 80 on them just so Texxx's self-imposed exile is a long and painful one.
