Actually rhino, my opinion would be to keep your team intact. You have a very balanced team. Sproles would be good, but I wouldn't do say eli and stewart for him. I really believe stewart is going to have a solid second half to the season. I also believe that CJ and Turner will as will. Your wr are not as strong as you think. Outside of colston who gets hurt a lot, and holmes who is hit or miss, many of your receivers are unproven. Don't get me wrong, I like them as a group, but I wouldn't trade one of them as your depth becomes really thin.
I know the WRs aren't great, that is why I have so many of them, I go with a differnt group almost every week. That's why I didn't think I would miss any one of them too much. I'm just trying to get something out of Eli and would like to have more than only 3 options at RB. My league is a custom one and has a goofy inflated QB point system, so Cam Newton is actually the 2nd highest scoring player in this league, so he's the starter. I'm in no rush to make a trade, I've won my games by over 100 pts each of the past 3 weeks. If only I hadn't drafted Peyton so early in the draft.....I wouldn't have this problem.
So my season is lost @ 1-6, and everyone is making offers for AD. I want fair value in any trade; I won't be pulling a Pau Gasol to the Lakers here. Here's what I've received so far: Trade #1 Adrian Peterson for Dwayne Bowe, Mike Tolbert or Trade #2 Adrian Peterson for DeSean Jackson Trade #2 is crap, so I'm going to counter with Jackson and either Hakeem Nicks/Andre Johnson. What would you guys do in my position? I'm thinking wait until after AD's week 9 bye.
Since I went to ask in the Texans forum hoping for a good answer but they couldn't answer my question because all they do is b**** about their ****ing coach. What's AJ's status for this week?
He's listed as questionable which is a good thing but overall just a listing. We probably won't know much till after tomorrows pratice concludes unfortunately. Hope is high though, we shall see.
No vetoes in my league, but I get what you're saying. For trade #1 the only counter that makes sense is AD for Megatron but I doubt he'll go for it. I'm going to tell #2 owner to take a hike, since he has absolutely nothing even close to AD's value.
Peterson is the most consistent RB, he's durable and with ponder looking spry he should have a rise in value. For an rb1 you should be getting an rb2 and wr1 IMO. See if you can get another RB3+ with that Tolbert Bowe deal otherwise sit on ADP.
At first glance I'd say Jackson and Washington. Cruz is an intriguing option for #2 though, and I'd definitely watch Washington's injury status to weigh that decision.
Kubiak says he expects both AJ and Casey to practice this week, which means they're questionable but things are looking up. I'd keep an eye on practice reports throughout the week, but if he is able to do Weds & Thursday without setbacks you're probably good to go.
not looking forward to next week. more than half of my players are going to be on a 'bye'. I dont see myself dropping half of my players either. But then again I dont want to lose. Ahhhh.
Wtf is up with Mendenhall? I am starting Ray Rice and Fred Jackson as my RBs (obviously) I am leaning towards starting Larry Fitzgerald and Marques Colston as my WRs Should I keep Mendenhall in my RB/WR spot or do I start Maclin over him? (Or do I start Maclin over either of my current WRs).
Is DeMarco Murray the real thing or is he just a one hit wonder? I'm asking because my RB situation sucks balls right now and he's a FA. Is he the starter now or will he share the load with Choice now that Jones is gonna be out for a while?
How in the F does a guy that for 253 yards and a score not get picked up in your league? Especially when Murray gets another start and Felix is injury prone? Nobody knows if he's the real deal or not but why don't you scoop him up and find out? Worst case scenario drop him if he's not.
Help please. QB: Ponder 2 RB: Bradshaw/Tolbert Flex: B. Scott 2 WR: Larry Fitz, AJ (if healthy) TE: Pettigrew DEF: 49ers K: Henery Bench (available players): Breaston Crabtree Ingram (if healthy) Hardesty Helu Any changes you guys would make? I like Scott even against Seattle's tough run D, I think the Bengals have a better offense than the Browns frankly and Hardesty had 95 with 2 catches for 27 yards this past week. This is a ppr league so receptions matter.
Felix looks good-great when he runs, but as former owners know, he doesn't have every-down back durability.
