Dammit! That zombie was so close to ending Andrea's misery. Nope. We get more of her shrieking and pissy demeanor.
I had to chuckle at the mom questioning the Vet's credentials. I kept waiting on him to say . . . "well, If you have another doctor out here. . . you are welcome to get a second opinion." Rocket River
get rid of the female cast on this show then maybe it would be a lot better.. The acting from the female leads have been horrible, except for the zombie ones....
Robert Kirkman has always said that The Walking Dead is about human drama and the harm they can do to one another. Not Zombies. If you're waiting for an all out Zombie smashing episode, I'd stick with one of the 15 Resident Evil movies.
Except for the horse girl, all the other women have been nothing but (walking)dead weight. They're female T-dogs.
I am watching the scenes with T-Dog thinking "You know . . . black folx do get upset when there are no black characters BUT . . we really get upset with the character is an obvious token black character with not real reason to be there" His rambling in the last episode . . I was waiting on his eyes to cloud over and him to try to take a bite out of the guy . . .cause he seems like he GOING ZOMBIE Rocket River
One other thing I didn't understand... here's this farmhouse with no defenses. You have a town five miles away that's overrun with zombies, you have a freeway through the woods with wandering herds of zombies, you have rogue zombies walking around and sitting in the local church... yet you sit in a little farmhouse with open windows and lights on? Seems like they would at least have the perimeter wired with claymores or something.
I was wondering the same thing but I'm sure that will be addressed soon and probably have some twist tied to it
Picked up for a 3rd season: http://www.avclub.com/articles/amc-renews-the-walking-dead-because-its-not-stupid,64002/
It won't ever be addressed. If the characters were smart, and acted with even a small degree of intelligence, the zombie threat would be reduced to almost zero, and that would kill the drama, so it's simply not an option.
You're seriously questioning the acting from the female leads and not the male leads? They are equally as bad imo. Rick over acts big time, but I honestly don't care that much. Zombie movies are typically cheesy and they all fit that. I would like to see the show get a little darker though. Perhaps have Lori turn into zombie and Rick has to blow her head off.
If they follow the comic closely, it will definitely get darker. Enjoying the series, however. Different enough from the comic to still be surprised.
THIS. It gets so messed up, I will be seriously shocked if they follow it very closely, to be honest.
Except for Daryl the actors in this are very very poor to the point that it's starting to ruin a show I actually did enjoy at the start. Some of it is obviously poor writing perhaps as I am finding I dislike more and more of the characters every episode. Its hard to imagine this bunch of these mainly dumb(if we go by their decisions) and whinging group of humans could of survived when plenty didn't.
I haven't read the comics, but the TV series has to take a turn of some sort or it will get stale. Not sure how dark it has to get. I share the opinion the acting and writing aren't very good and, IMO, the zombies are getting corny.
I can't speak for the acting, but as far as the effects & zombies, maybe if AMC wouldn't keep cutting the hell out of their budget to support Mad Men and it's 1 million viewers per week. Walking Dead pulls in about seven times the viewers as Mad Men, but Mad Men wins Emmy's so AMC is in full support of them. I think if the ratings stay this high all year, they finally give it better financial backing in season 3. They'll need to if it's going to stay on track with the comics.
