The biggest "opponent" the Texans need to worry about is themselves. The last few years, it seems they beat themselves more often than they get beat.
Exactly. Cam can light it up but the team is still only 2-5, with one win coming against the Jags. Granted they've all been close losses, but losses nonetheless. I'd be concerned with the Falcons. Not even so much Cincy because they've had a pretty soft schedule so far. But shoot if Atl, Cincy and Carolina is the hardest part of our schedule going forward, I really like our chances.
Jacksonville doesn't look like an easy out tonight against the Ravens. Their QB looks lost, but their defense is shutting out the Ravens.
Yup, hopefully the team is watching this game and seeing this game is gonna be a bit tougher than some of the people on this board think it will be. Jacksonville has a legit front 7 and an average secondary. Luckily they have a rookie qb and recievers that that are no better than Kevin Walter or jacoby jones.
Has more to do with Flacco's ineptitude than Jacksonville defense, imo. He has at least one game a year like this.
If the Texans can string together some wins here, and hit the bye week at 7-3 (not out of the realm of possibilities at all), we could be looking at a first round bye if they can take care of business. Baltimore's offense is anemic (especially on the road), and Pittsburgh seems to be rounding into form. The Wild Card is completely up for grabs right now, and a team like the Chiefs (who was completely dead in the water 3 weeks ago) might even be able to grab it. Oakland is probably still a favorite, but San Diego looks pretty average, and the Jets and Bills could flounder along the way as well.
They held the saints to 23 which is decent, the panthers to 16 and steelers to 17. That's not to shabby. The saints and ravens put up 70 combined on us and only managed 30 against jax. They have been in every one on there games. We better come to play Sunday.
I am not even a little bit worried about the Jags, Flacco might be the worst starting qb in the NFL. Ravens are only good at home. Texans should be double digit favorites at home.
Forreal. I actually want a 1st round game cause I think we have a better chance to WIN and have a second game Rocket River
I'll the buy week any day. Gives players a chance to rest, but importantly the coaching staff can do preliminary gameplans on all of the teams we might face, and with Kubiak he will need all the extra prep he can get.
