I did all the loyalty missions, but I screwed up one of the decisions (can't remember which). Didn't really care for that part of the game. OK idea, but poorly executed IMO (describes a few different issues too).
I didn't really have much of a problem with it. The jobs lent themselves to 1 or 2 of the more specialized characters more than any of the others. Who's good with mechanisms? Who has experience leading a small squad? Who's strong enough to project a protective bubble? It wasn't implemented as well as it could have been maybe, but all in all I didn't think it was that bad.
Just ended up being a low reward, high risk thing IMO. I'm not really sure that it really added much to the experience (as it was executed). And as noted, it seems to have created a lot of frustration for some. Don't know how much dev time was associated with that, but I would have preferred it went towards something else.
But....but...Thane is an assassin! He loves crawling around in vents and saibling security! Right? Right???
Ok I just finish Mass Effect 2 and it's freaking EPIC!!! Hands down the best game I have ever played. The story line and dialogues are just outstanding and I love the science behind it. It's like Star Trek on roid. Fantastic voice acting, character design and right down to the unique world and race. God I love some of these characters. Will play it again but maybe this time I will do some modding to the characters. Will probably play a male Shepard this time because I need to get some Miranda. Well going to head back into the game and see what I miss and get it on lesbo style with Yeoman Kelly. Her message is awaiting me. Can't freaking wait for ME3. My biatches.
LOL this is just brilliant. Nicely put together. <iframe width="640" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Sf9Xzu3bIv4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
There's been some crazy stuff going on with Mass Effect 3 in the last couple of days. I believe there was to be a private, internal beta for the game, but MS screwed up and it accidentally went out to the public instead. Some screens, video, and gameplay info out there if anyone's interested. On top of that, apparently some Russian site found out that some (or...um...all?) story details were contained in the game data. So...a lot of the game has been spoiled. I went ahead and read some of it. I've been on the fence about ME3, so figured why not. Probably shouldn't say much, but probably glad I read them so I know not to waste $50-$60 on it (just my opinion of course). BioWare has fallen quite a bit IMO. On top of all that, Microsoft (not BioWare) sent out Cease and Desist orders to sites (or maybe just NeoGAF, not sure) to try to contain the leak (i.e., delete threads/articles with the info), although that might have done more harm than good. The Mass Effect 3 Wiki history is pretty interesting...let's just say that (*WARNING! IT DOES HAVE SPOILERS!!!* Which was kind of the point, along with silly anti-BioWare jokes.).
I indirectly referenced one source for spoilers (Wiki history). I actually don't know a good source all the spoilers at this point. I read them on NeoGAF, but thanks to the C&D, it was deleted.
If it's true than Microsoft should pony up the money and let give Bioware more time to perfect ME3. I have no problem waiting. I mean really how the f!ck does it really affect the ending of the game if the leaked are only a very small part of the game?
You made it sound like the whole game was leaked when it was only like a campaign or two to test out the the gameplay.
You missed some pieces to the story. The beta/preview gameplay was only a small portion of the game. BUT, for some reason, BioWare included story details with the data, which some people found out about (and "leaked"). This included details for the whole game. Quest info, character info, and of course, details about the ending. Technically, BioWare claims that this was outdated (and maybe false), but their actions speak louder than words. Edit: I think you can probably find it pretty easy if you search for it. I just did one, and found them pretty easily. Actually seems like a lot of stuff I missed. ~72 pages worth it seems (just copied and pasted it into Word).
This should be interesting. ME3 with Kinect. <iframe width="853" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/zfNGKvCjROA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I hate how they didn't fix the part where you can't skip through the scenes in ME2. If you mess up and want to redo a mission/assignment you have to sit through all the scenes again. I mean they're nice the first time, but having to watch them over and over (not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7) again for a second play through is annoying.
That's why i'm going to avoid these threads until I get m my hands on it. I've already seen enough from online mags
