It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia [Season 7]

LOL, I was laughing so hard when he said that.

 

I'm usually with you on that, but he was really funny last night. I usually find him funny when his confidence is down, like with t*** mcgee yesterday and when he was in that model competition against Rex. I was cracking up watching him keep in shot during the newscast. If anyone was unbearable it was Dee yesterday. It seems like they think she's funnier the louder she is.

 

Dee is really just irritating and I wouldn't care in the least bit if she was hit by an oncoming semi.

 

Dee is irritating but that's her role. Thought the episode was a big step up from last week's.

 

I can't remember it verbatim, but when Dennis' pick-up line to the news reporter incorporated "it's for the race", I just started laughing so hard.

Bah. The D.E.N.N.I.S System was one of their best episodes.

I meant FRANK. Sorry for the confusion. FRANK just never really entertains. His jokes/actions just seem to obvious.

 

Yeah I was about to say... Dennis and Charlie are the funny ones because they do actually have some acting ability.

 

Maybe I'm just too analytical when it comes to a "simple" comedy.

But Dee's role is to be annoying and give the others something to play off. She also brings in Artemis, and other humorous characters and is often the catalyst to get the gang into the situations they are in.

Frank is funny, but necessarily always in an in the moment kind of thing. It's funny to me that a character as crazy as that is the one who almost always is carrying a loaded weapon, and has no second thoughts about pulling it out and using it.

Other schemes of is are funny on the larger scale. While his in the moment humor is not subtle and may be to overt and obvious to some, it probably broadens the audience by adding that other level to the show. I think his character interacts well with the others. He's probably the second biggest catalyst to Dee.

 

Yeah, its not like Frank ever got nominated for an Oscar or anything.

 

DENNIS was funny it allowed the followup jokes with the funnier MAC system and Frank's magnum condoms. I was against Frank from his introduction until maybe season 5, he was very static and only talked about guns/drugs/money. But he allows Charlie more stuff to work with, and it's interesting, in a gross way, to see Devito physically de-evolve into what he looks like now.

 

This season has been a hit and miss for me. Have only liked a couple of episodes so far. Tonight's episode was ok but nothing to re-watch. Hoping for a better one next week.

 

Thought the Game of Games was pretty funny, not the best but solid.

 

Yeah, kinda meh last night. The League blew it away!

 

I must have seen Frank's Brother episode three times now, I don't think there will be a better episode than that this season... Shadynasty??? The funniest name ever!!!

 

Agreed, my favorite so far...but the CharDeeMacDennis game was pretty solid...I laughed alot...I also liked the weather girl pick up lines in the storm of the century...

 

It will go down as a cult classic. I didn't really laugh at that episode, but it tickled me in a strange and memorable way...

 

wow frank's brother episode has been the least favorite of the season for me. I don't think I laughed one time. Oh well, different strokes i guess
