Just started at 7 on CNN. Santorum in my view is already looking pathetic. Cain was just beat down on his 9-9-9 plan and had no idea he just looked lost.
I hope others are watching this. Romney just BEAT PERRY DOWN LIKE A RED-HEADED STEP CHILD. Even the crowd was yelling and screaming, it was pretty much awesome.
Romney is killing it. Man he's just wrecking everyone who tries. And who advised Perry to pick a fight with anyone over illegal immigration. It's been his biggest weakness and he decides to make that an issue?
Yes X 1000. The crowd has now on 3 occasions cheered Romney in response to Perry or booed Perry, he's looking as terrible as you can.
Perry now trails Paul in the polls, so why is CNN giving Perry so much attention? On the plus side, he was just able to dig his own grave.
Perry has been embarrassed all night, everytime he talks, he's trying to attack Romney, and then subsequently Romney slaps him down, the crowd is loving it. I was told beforehand that Huntsman would be there, but he's not. Bachmann is continuing her 'non-crazy' act from the last debate, but is making absolutely no noise. Gingrich is still with the tired "bureaucratic washington is killing this country' blah blah blah while looking smug as he plummets in the polls. Paul like always gets cheers everytime he talks, no one every challenges him, and he doesn't challenge others. If he did, he be in the upper tier.
It was pretty awesome when Romney called out Gingrich on the individual mandate. Gingrich spends 2 minutes complaining about Romney on health care and then concedes that he supported the heritage foundation proposal in the 90s. Romney is just smoking everyone who tries to challenge him.
OOOUCH!!! Perry sounded senile answering a question about religion. Oh wow! He is dead in the water. I felt sorry for him. His brain isn't quick enough.
Uh, Paul is in the upper tier - the media just doesn't reflect that (yet). I prefer his non-aggressive tactic. It enables people to gravitate to the message.
Props to him on that. Santorum: Uh uh uh... but Iran was a sovereign country so it was ok to illegally sell them weapons.
Just like last election... his poll numbers are no where near Romney's or Cain's at the moment. You must have forgotten today's Republican party, there is no non-aggressive tactic to allow people to gravitate towards a message. They way loud, screaming, down with Obama rhetoric over that. If anyone ever thought Paul was a serious threat they'd be giving it to him like they did Cain tonight and Perry and Romney the last few debates. I don't count Santorum because he's been ragging on Paul since the early debates (probably trying to pick on someone in hopes of coming across as powerful)
