Done: Raiders trade first rounders for Carson Palmer

This is why I now hate the Raiders.

Hue Jackson is now officially the new Josh McDaniel's of the AFC West. The imminent meltdown of the raiders is going to be epic.

 

First of all , the Raiders can have the NFC West , i only care about the AFC West . Would you like to make lil interesting with a friendly wager my friend , i will say the Chargers will win the AFC West , i am guessing you will go with the Raiders.

 

I think people are forgetting that team in SDG which owned the Raiders for like 13 straight games before losing both last year.

Rivers is still around last time i checked , unless he got scurred and retired cuz of Palmer's arrival in Oak.

 

Oh but don't forget, apparently Carson is gold against the Chargers so put the Raiders down for 2 victories over the Chargers in the 2nd half of the season.
Now he doesn't have to deal with "mediocre" receivers in Cincinnati or all the forces in Cincinnati that conspired to turn his ability as an elite qb over the past two or three seasons into average at best. (Of course no fault of Carson's).

The way I see it... He went from a dysfunctional front office to a dysfunctional franchise.... At least he's progressing!!!

Gates is done for, Tomlinson is gone... Rivers has nothing to work with.

Ballsy move, Palmer is better than Schaub for the ones who brought up Schaub. And VY, lol that would have been an admission to tank for Luck. Palmer can make all the throws, sometimes falls in love with his arm too much though.

I wouldn't be optimistic about him returning to form, didn't sound like he had a lot of confidence in his foot when interviewed this week. Sucks for the chargers since they don't look very good in the redzone without him.

 

Raiders fans talk , so Rivers doesn't have emerging Ryan Matthews , Big Brusier Tolbert . Vincent Jackson , Malcolm Floyd , Patrick Crayton . Randy McMicheal as a backup TE.

 

So the best case scenario for the Raiders team is making the playoffs this year and next and losing two low first round picks. And the worst case scenario is being mediocre this year and next and losing a mid first rounder and mid second rounder. Geez, that's such a huge risk and a steep price to pay for a Carson Palmer. I hope it works out for the Raiders...good QBs make the NFL better, and Carson is starting-caliber. I kind of feel bad for Jason Campbell though; he's been very professional through a lot of career turmoil.

 

I believe now that the Raiders will only give up their 2013 1st round pick if they get to the AFC Championship game.

 

I don't really care enough to wager.
