I was trying to get Desean Jackson and McGahee for him and Tolbert or Ingram, but I realized DJ was on a bye and I need as many starters as I get get for this week. I think DJ will turn it up in the 2nd half so I'm buying low, I guess selling low. I think Kolb has really hurt Fitz more than helped.
I was offered Stephen Jackson and Cam Newton for Forte and Sproles in a 12 team .5 ppr league here is my lineup qb: fitzpatrick wr: vjackson, bmarshall, julio jones, meacheam, burress rb: foster, forte, sproles, tolbert te: olsen, keller, k: gowtowski (the ne kicker) def: rotates should I do it - I am a bit weak at qb but a bit apprehensive about giving up 2 RBs that figure heavily in the passing game as well since its a PPR league. Fitz hasnt been amazing but he generally is consistent enough...I am 5-1 in this league so I am not desperate to make a trade
I wouldn't. Forte and Sproles are both used often in the passing game, Jackson not so much. You'd upgrade at QB but take too heavy a hit at RB in my opinion.
Thinking of offering the following: SEND: L. Fitzgerald RECEIVE: S. Breaston and D. Murray Felix Jones injury hurts me bad and this week I am looking at a bad starting lineup. Here it is: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=6362107&postcount=4316 What do you think?
I'm desperate...LOL! I'm actually still favored to win my match-up even with my piss poor lineup. lol
dude that's beyond desperate. You can get way more than 2 players that shouldn't belong on a roster even in a 20 man league.
Got offered Dwayne Bowe for MJD. Should I do it? I have 3 RB's having better seasons than MJD on my roster.
I think that's a fair trade. MJD has been racking up yards but hasn't consistently been able to find the endzone. Bowe is KC's main weapon(only?) so I actually think you win this trade, especially if you are already set at RB.
Not a chance I would do that deal in a PPR league. Assuming you have a flex spot, I wouldn't look to deal if I was you. Stand pat. Sure you could use an upgrade at the QB & WR spot, but you don't need to.
No. I know you are in a world of hurt for this week, but don't panic and make a deal that gives you less value in return.
Quote from what AJ told Sports Radio 610 that his injury will not keep him sidelined no more than six weeks. He further stated that he doesn't expect to miss the full six weeks. This concerns me, the fact that they're changing the recovery timeframe from 3 to 6 weeks is worrisome. Just news for you guys that are now fellow AJ owners.
I accepted it. Now my roster looks like: Drew Brees/Ryan Fitzpatrick Fred Jackson/Michael Turner/Beanie Wells/Ahmad Bradshaw Dwayne Bowe/Desean Jackson/Brandon Lloyd/Brandon Marshall/Nate Washington/Victor Cruz Dustin Keller/Kellen Winslow Rotating K and D
have to fix a bad running back #2 situation. b/c injury problems not many week 7 quality options since roster now is Deangelo Williams VS. WASH,James Starks @ MIN+ Ryan Grant @MIN if you were managing this RB#2 scenario would u drop any of those three for somebody like Demarco Murray or other handful of options from list below Free Agent Running Backs Week 7 Projections Murray, DeMarco RB DAL vs. STL Choice, Tashard RB DAL vs. STL Hardesty, Montario RB CLE vs. SEA Tomlinson, LaDainian RB NYJ vs. SD Carter, Delone RB IND @NO Tate, Ben RB HOU @TEN Williams, Ricky RB BAL @JAC Snelling, Jason RB ATL @DET Morris, Maurice RB DET vs. ATL
The biggest douche bag in my league beat me this week off of a monstrous jets d performance. There isn't anything worse than losing to a douche bag that called out God and fantasy football luck and me and everybody else.
If I had no choice between dropping any of those 3 for one off your list I'd go Hardesty for Grant. Browns just signed Ogbonnaya off houston's practice squad so the Hillis hammy may be worse than people thought.
Start Starks or Thomas at flex? Starks has Min and Thomas has Den. I could also drop either for Murray vs StL. Battle is still there as well.
Pick up Colt McCoy or Carson Palmer or Tebow in Waivers? Tebow has a little bit of a goaline threat; but can't throw. McCoy doesnt turn it over too much but hasnt been to great. Palmer is new to the system but if he shows anything of what he was in the past, then it'll mean a good 300 yard game?
