Forget this self defense bull. The guy is at work. Work which was likely very difficult to obtain for him, and should be very important to maintain. Nowhere in the McManual does he become obligated to forcibly defend all verbal maligning. He got his second chance to straighten out his "issues" after murdering someone. If he can't resist beating someone with a club/rod(?) while on the clock, then obviously he isn't as rehabilitated, or victimized as some here are making it out to be. Again, if I was at work, anywhere, and someone tried to pull ego-hedging, ****-talking games with me, I would walk into the back office/bathroom/wherever, and sit it out. Ain't a damn thing worth my anger, or my time, at work, except making that money and climbing the ladder. He clearly needs more help controlling his priorities, and his temper, and for an ex-con, this behavior simply cannot be afforded.
If I went to prison for an extended period of time, not going back would likely be my number one priority.
you would think. then again maybe repeated rape and beat down in prison made him react like this. he had a shower flashback...
Everyone's a tough talker on the internet. You don't know how this guy was raised. We know he's been in prison for quite a while and you know that's not the nicest place in the world. Live in his world and see if you can restrain yourself. You never know what will go through your head when two ghetto *ss b*tches are working your last nerve then starts getting physical and jumping the counter.
First of all, I'll just say it was more than just verbal abuse and sh_t talking he was taking. The one customer hit him in the face, and then jumped over the counter going after him physically.
yup - i think the initial beat down was justified b/c he was protecting himself, but once they were down he should have dropped the rod and just started kicking them in the p*****s (chicks dont have balls). those dumb chicks got what they deserved though.
Do I feel for the guy? Sure. Is he in a pickle, requiring uncommon composure and wherewithal? Youbetcha. Is it almost unreasonable to expect him to completely restrain his emotions like the buddha? Probably. But that's the reality he lives, as an ex-con. I didn't read the thread, or the background of why she was hopping the counter and whatnot, but I don't need to do anything other than watch past the 2:00 or so mark in the video, to see through this justified self-defense argument. I personally do not possess such godly self discipline when it comes to confrontations, verbal or physical, but I'm smart enough to know when to pick my fights. Granted, nobody has ever hit me at work, but there are times when I "lock myself in the closet" to compose myself and to avoid more trouble. Anyone who has taken any self defense training, at any level, would recognize that what he did in the video was not necessary to defend his safety. Thus, it was not self defense. It is unfortunate, but spare me the self defense necessity crap. A girl hit him, he's on the clock, and he's one infraction away from going back to the slammer for god know's how long. You call the play.
It's time you come out of that closet my friend. Spoiler I kid I kid, couldn't resist. Here's a puppy
Silly Ho's....dont you know... Spoiler YOU GOTTA ALWAYS PROTECT THE MCNUGGETS... <a href="http://photobucket.com/images/cheeseburger%20eddie" target="_blank"><img src="http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a193/Plasma_Playa/yard8.jpg" border="0" alt="Cheeseburger Eddie Pictures, Images and Photos"/></a> Thats what they get for jumping over the counter and acting like mc***holes...
One of the risks inherent to being a raging ******* is that you never know when you'll meet a much bigger raging *******. Not much sympathy for anyone involved.
The court will but it won't surprise me if Mcintosh is indicted and then found guilty in trial. Self-defense laws are based on "a reasonable person" standard and the fact that his co-workers were trying to stop him would support that standard. Like the Ersland case the practical application of that standard is that you can't keep on hitting or shooting a person when they are down. Whether they deserved it or not isn't a legal question. Like Rhad I have no sympathy for any of the three people involved.
Being at work doesn't mean you give up your right to defend yourself. If someone assaults you while you are at work you have a right to fight back. The only problem here is when does he move from self-defense to assault. That would apply no matter where he was.
Are you serious? I really can't tell if you really believe this. You're that teacher that say's "if a bully starts hitting you, run to the principals office, it's the right thing to do!". If someone has the lack of social restraint, to the point that they slap you in the face THEN chase after you, there is no telling what the hell they are capable of. It is very much in the realm of possibilities that they can KILL you. Let me repeat, KILL YOU. It is absolutely foolish to say that he should have reverted to some sort of prior training, thought about his situation and not acted. He was damn well justified in what he was doing until the second round of swinging (after the hilarious head nod).
Yeah, bro. The paroled murderer is really afraid the hoe-ass-trick climbing the counter could possibly be out to kill him. That's great reasoning to engage in combat with them. Clearly, what I was emphasizing was: a) the unnecessary, round-two beating and b) the extra dose of behave-yourself, parolee. No sympathy. Control yourselves.
NY Daily News says the chick has permanent brain damage now lol. The bottom part of the article is too funny http://www.nydailynews.com/news/ny_...r_faces_permanent_brain_damage_mother_cl.html
This reminds me of the guy in Oklahoma whose store was robbed by 2 guys and he shot one of the crooks. The crook went down in a heap. The store owner then left the store to go chase after the 2nd crook. When he came back, he went inside, got some more ammo, and shot the defenseless 1st crook several times again until he died. I can't say I feel nearly as sorry for these girls, though.
How stupid is that? To get irate because a cashier is verifying whether a $50 bill is real or not. Any cashier has the right to perform checks on cash to see if it is real. Judging by their response, I guess he was right to check the $50. If it's real, then let him verify it's real, make the sale, take your food and your fat ass, and sit the f down and eat. The outcome was bad but dumb people who overreact make for bad situations. What in the world were they thinking going behind the counter like that? People are dumb.
