Two wrongs. Harbaugh was a dick for his handshake. He was better off not shaking hands than to give a half ass disrespectful handshake. Schwartz shouldn't have gone after Harbaugh, but no one could blame him.
Surprised how many many people are siding with Harbaugh. Since I was 5 years old I knew how to respectfully shake hands with your opponent after the end of a sporting event. It's called good sportsmanship. And barely giving them eye contact, screaming in their ear, and slapping them in the back while circling/jumping around them in some Native American rain dance wasn't it. I don't blame Schwartz for taking offense at all.
The handshake is stupid anyway...I don't blame Harbaugh, and Schwartz has no room to whine, he is of the same ilk. Nothing to see here, but good old emotional football. Honestly, I wish either one of them were the coach of the Texans....screw Mr. Nice guy Kubiak ! DD
I agree...Harbaugh just won, got excited and Schwartz just acted like a spoiled brat and overreacted...
Seriously I wonder if the only reason Moes is upset is he is a raiders fan and hates the 49ers???? It is generally a who gives a **** moment. DD
It's also funny how Harbaugh doesn't act the least bit surprised when Schwartz is in his ear. Methinks he got the reaction he was hoping/expecting.
I don't blame him either, but his ridiculous overreaction makes him the bigger donkey. Tell you what: If any other coach besides Schwartz had gone ballistic like a psychopath in this situation, I might be more understanding. But Schwartz is a sideline lunatic. Next time he talks or gestures to an opposing player during a game, I hope he gets popped in the mouth.
http://espn.go.com/blog/afcsouth/post/_/id/29449/still-confident-texans-not-good-enough-yet This is what really led to Harbaugh's reaction... Now Im on Harbaugh's side..lol
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/sh...-and-the-first-quarter-play-th?urn=nfl-wp9711 Sorry this is the post !!!
Is that the link you meant to post to? Nothing on Harbaugh... it's a story on the Ravens-Texans game. My thoughts exactly. Harbaugh did this on purpose and probably said something to boot... you can tell he's not surprised when Schwartz is coming after him.
Yeah I'll probably trust Bill Cowher's assessment of the situation moreso than yours, but its close. The handshake is a sacred bond of sportsmanship and for Harbaugh to ignore that acknowledgement is a blatant, direct disrespect to the entire game of football. Harbaugh has a reputation of doing **** like this, he's generally considered a douche. I'm not saying that Schwartz was right in his reaction, because he lost his head and acted like a moron. Two wrongs don't make a right, but if Harbaugh didn't disrespect the game with his childish actions, this never would have happened, so I place the blame squarely on his shoulders.
Guess I hit reply between your posts... interesting find. Schwartz does look like a jerk in that replay, but it probably is more evidence that what Harbaugh was doing at the end of the game was intentional and a jerk move.
HArbaugh himself said he made a mistake...i'm surprised people are defending his actions so much. I don't think he's a jerk for what he did, but he did do a jerky thing.
Wow - if this is true, and it looks like it is, Good job Harbaugh for rubbing it back in his face. If you are going to be an ass, got to expect the stink. DD
If you watch the video though you can see he is yelling something. Either way, this is a whole bunch of nothing.... Who cares? And don't you wish you had either one of these guys are the Texans coach? DD
