Actually, with Ed Reed, the best odds are that he returns the short kick for a TD. The odds for all of those options are extremely low... but I think the lowest risk/highest reward was the Pass. You honestly think Rackers would tie a 35 year NFL record kick with a swirling wind? The guy was being held back from attempting 51 yard kicks in games outside of Houston and Denver last year.
I agree. I think we made good adjustments after their first drive. Now hopefully whatever adjustments they make in protection don't work too well. Moe
Heh I think it was the right play to pass so we could go into the half relatively safe. It would have been pretty cookl to see rackers attempt a 60 yarder though
Not cool to watch Ed Reed return kicks like that... he has done damage like that before, and we don't have a special teams unit out there to try and stop him in that situation.
