I completely oppose them and their speech. And along with many others, I am also arming myself in case a strong defense against these sickos becomes necessary. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/qlPY9AfQFqI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> "Ultimately the bourgeoisie will not go without violent means"..."We need a revolution like the French Revolution, not like Gandhi in India."
Well if you oppose free speech, then perhaps the United States isn't the best nation for you to live in. There are plenty of nations around the world where free speech isn't legal. However, in the United states free speech even if we don't like the opinions expressed is a treasured right. As someone who loves the United States and socialism, I'll stay here, and celebrate our freedoms, and differences. Best of luck in whatever nation you choose to live in. I'm sorry that the freedoms American citizens have had since the birth of our nation don't agree with you.
It's always refreshing to see "second amendment" solutions being practiced for the problems of our ages. though, buddy, you might need to consider the following---
Hey, I'm a social democrat, which simplified can be construed as being a socialist, or even further simplified, can be construed as being a communist. Want to have a reasoned discussion without recourse to guns?
I did read. Their speech is their freedom. It's in the constitution. Maybe it is you that needs to learn to read. The question I asked was if you opposed communists having free speech. You quoted me and gave the answer that you oppose their speech. If you were answering something that wasn't the quote I proposed to you, then it is you that needs to learn to read. Perhaps whatever nation you choose to live in that doesn't allow free speech will have an education system that serves you better. Best of luck to you.
I answered your question, but you are too dumb or too busy defending communism to understand it. Good luck to you having a long life either way.
Hightop is right. He said he opposes their speech. That does not mean (unlike your incorrect interpretation of it) that he opposes their freedom of speech. Are you really unable to see the difference?
Communism is not reasonable, therefore a reasonable discussion would not be possible. Is the "protester" who is calling for bloodshed being reasonable? I'm not sure if that type of speech is protected. Good luck to him too, he might really need it.
Firstly, he ain't Arab he sounds Iranian. Secondly, how dare they say "my frrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriend", what are they trying to accomplish? Right ATW? Lastly, they use it often because its a direct translation of how they converse with one another.
Is arming yourself in response to the rantings of an unrepresentative lunatic reasonable (is that not a hallmark of extremist tendencies themselves?) Is being so incredibly scared of an extremist party just because a tiny minority espouse violence, when one that has taken over Congress promised us "second amendment solutions" to our problems reasonable? (to the extent that it is possible you might be arming yourself in response to both groups is something that has occurred to me, but something that I doubt) Is completely ignoring the most brilliant political philosopher of the modern era reasonable? Marx wrote at length critiquing capitalism, and many of his ideas are incorporated into modern political systems. You are missing out if you completely refuse to engage with the schools of thought he has inspired, including vibrant social/Christian democratic movements that have spawned some of the most successful OCED states. Have a problem against child labour? Guess who first got that reformed? Think Marx is anti-democratic? Think again, and learn up about the Paris Commune. To completely refuse to engage with different ideas, and to close off any dialogue you might have with mental roadblocks, and stockpiled weapons, is, in my mind, the surest path to destructive fear, and ignorance, and a sign of faltering confidence in your own beliefs.
Communism is violence. That ignorant, evil path has already been taken too many times. The righteous will fight it by any means necessary. I'm not going to engage in any dialog about cannibalism or rape either. I'm just closed-minded that way.
Where did you get that stupid idea? from your propaganda media? Or do you also believe that Capitalism is slavery trading or Indian race cleansing?
Isn't complete freedom violence as well? And, um, I know that our posts here are, quite frankly, completely and utterly insignificant to the world. But I always thought the best way to approach an enemy, especially in times where violence is rather frowned upon, isn't to ignore others but to embrace and try and show them what is the 'right' way. China, a rather Communist country decades ago, has followed to lead of many industrialising countries. Imagine instead that the US said back in 1970, 'F**k you China, you and your Communist way, we'll fight you by any means necessary!' Now isn't that just.....wrong?
