49ers will be in every game with that D. Both Lions and 49ers are good teams, but they're not contenders though.
No it isn't. They just showed a stat that said Rodger's QB rating when out of the pocket is 141. Insane.
He's a mobile QB, and he's a damn great one. But they have a top 5 O-line in the NFC. Josh Sitton is one of the best guards in the NFC.
Props to the Niners for not going away and leading at hafltime. They were looking pretty shaky down 10-0. I didn't know David Akers could still kick long FGs. Seems like he's been around forever. Regarding Aaron Rodgers, his o-line is OK. He's already the best QB in the NFL but the margin increases when you compare throwing on the run. Nobody can throw accurate ropes the way he does when scrambling. Forget giving their o-line credit for him being great. Whoever thinks that must have missed last week against the Falcons when both starting OTs were out.
In the pocket Brady >>> Rodgers all day Outside the pocket Rodgers >>>> every QB in the league I'll argue those 2 all day.
I've said from the start Rodgers is the best QB playing right now. I just feel the surroundings can help the QB position a ton. It just makes what Manning did 10x more impressive.
The Packers just have the right mix of everything right now. They are clearly 2 levels ahead of the field.
The 49ers can't afford to miss tackles right now. Best is killing them. EDIT: What are the Lions doing throwing 3 straight times in the red zone? And none at CJ?
